Comcast Sports just showed Clinton Portis outside of the hospital. I wonder if Portis or Snyder got to see Taylor?

skinsguy 11-26-2007, 07:39 PM Comcast Sports just showed Clinton Portis outside of the hospital. I wonder if Portis or Snyder got to see Taylor? Rhaamses 11-26-2007, 07:46 PM oh yeah that might be it I just linked to it without any problems. Try again redskinsfanatic 11-26-2007, 07:47 PM moss, portis, snyder, and bubba tyer are all at the hospital with the taylor family.it just does'nt look good for him know.i could'nt careless if he plays football again,i just want him to survive and live a full normal life. Stacks42 11-26-2007, 07:50 PM Is anyone going to the vigil at Redskins park? SteelandSkin 11-26-2007, 07:51 PM Watching SportsCenter- Mort just reported that there wasn't much optimism amongst the Redskin folks he spoke with, and that people are just holding out hope that his youth and athleticism save him in this case. Ugh. I hope so. Believe Washington. Pray for that man to recover and brought back to full health. mredskins 11-26-2007, 07:51 PM Is it just me or are we nervous everyone is going down to see him? Like the end maybe in the near. UGH! Slingin Sammy 33 11-26-2007, 07:51 PM In a way I almost feel like this HAS happened to someone in my family. Maybe it's just b/c I'm emotional right now. But I grew up in DC. Some of my earliest memories are of my Dad taking me to Skins games at RFK during Gibbs 1.0. I still remember the 3 SuperBowl parties my family threw for our championships. Redskins football is and always will be something that brings my family and friends together on Sundays. I love this team with all my heart, I keep up with them every single day of the year, and as I've grown up I feel like I'm a part of them and they're a part of me, as cheesy as that may sound. And Taylor is one of my 2 or 3 favorite players. I still remember cheering and running laps around my living room when we drafted him over Kellen Winslow. I wear his jersey every Sunday. I'm devastated. Very well put. Most of us have the same types of memories and the Skins are definitely a major part of our lives/personalities. When they are struggling or hurt, so do we. But none of us has seen anything this tragic happen to someone who is part of the organization. Even Dexter's troubles weren't anywhere near this magnitude. That's also why most of us are here to help each other through this. This is the most awful thing I can remember happening to the Skins since I began being a fan in 1972. Keep praying and think positive to help ST. Skinsfan1967 11-26-2007, 07:53 PM Riggo is talking to Sean's attorney. Sheriff Gonna Getcha 11-26-2007, 07:53 PM Redskins Insider (http://blog.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/) Sean may have opened his eyes and may be responsive!!!!!!!!!!! CanadianSkin 11-26-2007, 07:54 PM I just linked to it without any problems. Try again Just needed to go back into it, instead of just hitting refresh. Thanks for the help though.... Williams was a great interview and it did choke me up. Get better soon Sean, we are all praying for you... |
