Let's keep the politics out of this thread. Thanks.

Whatever.

Huh? All I ask is that we keep this thread respectful and not mix politics with this tragedy.

Well politics aside, think about how this situation could have turned out of ST had a gun. I mean he was arrested on gun charges awhile back, correct? I wonder why he didn't legally register himself to own a gun. I'm kind of an anti-gun person in most situations, but if I'm rich and famous damned if I'm not owning one.

Right now on Comcast sportsnet they are saying he is "Clinging to life in Intensive Care"
Our Prayers go out to Sean ...
They are saying Sharpstein is saying he is in Very very bad shape..
Not Looking good guys... Please I dont care what religion you are. or if you are athiest or what ever do what ever you have to worship who you have to .. that Sean survives.. then we worry about him playing again. They are saying that IF he does survive this there is a possibility of brain damage due to the amount of loss of blood.

Thoughts and prayers go out to ST and his family. I'm interning at Redskins Park these days (ha, betcha didn't know the warpath had an insider!) but I've heard nothing new all day. I'm hoping he pulls through, the trainer leaving with Portis and Snyder is a good sign. Ok, it's nothing, I'm grasping at straws, but my thoughts and prayers are with Sean.

It's all unknown at this point. We still don't even know if his coma was induced by the doctors. We've heard reports that he needed to be revived. We've heard that he may be brain damaged. We've heard that he could die. We've heard so many things I don't know what to think.

But, by all accounts he bled profusely and his femoral artery was ruptured, if not severed. It doesn't look good, but everything is up in the air.

Probably not going to get any updates for a little while, regardless of his condition.

Unbelievably tragic. Everyone pray for this young man and his family. Truly something unexpected, and football has to take a back seat for a little bit. This is far bigger than any trivial football bs. Save any speculative talk, save any political talk... there will be time for everything. Right now, we don't know if he's even going to live...

I'll be glued to the television at work today, and hoping he pulls through. He's an athlete, and if anyone stands a chance at surviving something like this it's Sean Taylor. Hope everyone turns out for the best-

A CNN reporter was just on Washington Post Live (on Comcast) and he said there was a break in at the house on November 18th. Apparently nothing was taken during that break in, but it seems odd that there would be a break in a week before.
