the problem is a the severed artery is huge.
The amount of blood loss from that would be tremendous.
The fact that he survived surgury is almost a miracle....so lets not think about football.
Right now we should be concerned that the oxygen flow from blood continued long enough so there was no irreperable damage.

This is a very dangerous situation....even after surgury.
Please....dont mention him playing again until we know he will live.
Please pray for Sean and his family...

There is power in prayer.

I can't imagine a worse situation. A young father who turned his life around gets shot in his home in the middle of the night and has one of the most important body parts severed!!!! severed. I hope the doctors brought their A game, because that will be the deciding factor in Taylors life. How terrible.

I find myself fighting back tears every time I start to post on this thread. When I think of how much this team loves this guy, how much he's matured, how bright his star was shining on the field this year, the fact that he's 24 years old and is a new father, and how much adversity this team has been through this season... When I think of his infant child and all of our Redskins huddled around in prayer... Come on Sean. Fight.

Miami-Dade police say they've found no evidence of a robbery being the motive in Sean Taylor's Sunday night shooting.

The Miami Herald reported Monday that Taylor's girlfriend heard an intruder at the rear of his house and called police. When Taylor went to check on the situation, he was allegedly shot. Taylor is currently believed to be in a coma.

Hey guys I know I've been off for a while now, didn't even had time to come for our annual week match up to do some feedback, but I had to take some time with the news I read today.

My prayers are with Taylor and his family I know the scenario doesn't look good but he's one of the toughest individuals I've ever seen, if someone can pull it off he can, I will be coming back to see any development. it's really a sad news to a great individual.

I have seen numerous posts from Cowboy fans wishing ST the best. Out of curiousity, I hit an Eagles board. It was below worthless. The majority of posters wished him a crippling injury "couldn't happen to a nicer guy" was one post. Death wishes were many and in no way the exception. I was tempted to post but I figured - why bother.

To our opponents who wish this young man and young father well - thanks. To the rest, may karma come and bite you on the ass.

And, of course, to ST, his family and particular his child - my prayers and thoughts.
