Any Qb that throws 50 times a game is going to have turnovers. He shouldnt be benched, Portis should be benched (joking) for fumbling twice and have almost zero running game. Way to get man handled on the 4th and 1. Most of this team is seriously overratted but I wouldnt say that about J campbell.

Very very good point. Not to make excuses for JC cause those were bad passes. You just have to take care of the ball down in the red zone. But anytime you throw it that much, you are asking for TO's.

I dont really think so either but JC's confidence has to be shaky as hell.

Hearing Gibbs say that may make it worse or could push him to the next level.

Hell who knows. You know what opinions are like.

Only in the last stages in the game has his confidence been shaky to me. How many career starts does JC have 16-18 I lost count but look how long it took Peyton to beat the Patriots a while he has been put in positions to win last two games but you will have to lose a couple to know how to win.

Would Gibbs bench Samuels as well? Would he bench Kendall for letting his guy through to stop us when we only needed a foot? the O Line is more responsible for most of the fumbles because they let our guys get hit by multiple tacklers.

I don't know, that might be just about as ridiculous as saying its Joe Gibbs fault that we had all those fumbles. Give me a break, Clinton is a running back and should be used to getting hit by 2+ guys on the same play, fumbling is inexcusable.

It is mainly our Olines fault for all of JC's fumbles, he gets blindsides at least once a game, they need to step up in order for him to get over the next hump in his short career

As a QB you have to have a little timer in your head, you have to have instincts. There is that 6th sense that many great QBs have that tells them there is someone right behind them and that they need to tuck the ball or get rid of it. I'm not saying JC won't be great but that timer has got to develop sooner or later, our offensive line can't hold the defensive line on every single play, every single game.

I have been frustrated with JC, I guess maybe with some of the success he has had and as good as he looks at times I forget he has only been the starter for half of last season and the begining of this season. As many fingers that are pointing at JC there are 4 left over to be pointing at others. Portis 2 fumbles, Moss one fumble. Several dropped passes and at times lack of blocking. It is easy to point out the QB as the problem area because he is the point man, he is the leader, he pulls the trigger. JC is young he is going to make mistakes, it is part of being a QB. however he does make alot of plays also, he put us in the position to win those games and he will learn from his mistakes and will correct him. JC is a worker and he is a gamer, those are the things I take from. JC will be a good QB in this league, he works to hard not to be.

This just proves that JC should have been the starter all of last year, and these growing pains would have occured at a less costly moment

How so? If it happened last year we'd be complaining that he should have started since the day he was drafted.

It's not like he's never going to make mistakes again. I mean look at former SB Champ and NFL MVP Kurt Warner yesterday, or former SB Champ and NFL MVP Peyton Manning two weeks ago. Happens even to the best.

Not a great plan.
