Is Jason Campbell Accountable for this Loss?

I want to compare JC to another Skins Qback, Mark Rypien.

I remember one season Ryp fumbled 8 times in a few games. Gibbs sat him down for a while.

Next year he wins the Super Bowl.

This was JC's 17th start. Rome wasn't built in a day, and outside Big Ben, very few QB's turn into super bowl MVP's in a year.

Is there stuff he can learn from? Sure. But... Moss and Portis fumbling concerns me a lot more. Moss has done this twice now in big games for us this year.

Portis did it twice today.

And don't get me started on Samuels not blocking his man that swattede the ball from JC on his blindside.

JC need to improve on his long pass accuracy and his received selection a bit.

He will be a better QB next year than this year.

Get him a healthy line, and it will be playoffs next year.

IMHO

I'm glad u came on here, with your connections is there any way you can get word to gibbs that everyone knows when jason lifts his leg in the shotgun the ball is snapped? thats happened every time he fumbles,he's making it way to easy for other teams to anticipate the snap

Have you ever watched another NFL game before? Every team does that.

His completion percentage is up, and so is his yardage. I'm perfectly fine with him receiving some of the blame for the loss, but when people start acting like he needs to be replaced, it pisses me off. What are you people expecting? Every quarterback makes mistakes. This quarterback in particular is still young, and playing with a patchwork offensive line and a makeshift receiving core. The supposed "top two" receivers can't stay healthy, and one drops half the balls thrown his way.

And honestly, those picks are lumps he has to take. Campbell is very good in a two minute offense and in the red zone. Almost too good for his own good. Throwing the picks will help him to learn that he can't do EVERYTHING. It just sucks that it happens with the game on the line, but it is something he will learn from.

And let's not forget, the Bucs have the #1 defense in the NFC. They've made a lot of more established quarterbacks look bad too.

I am a big Campbell fan. I bought his jersey before last year's season when Brunell was the starter. In fact, there's no "J" on it because it was before we signed K. Campbell.

That said, I expect him to learn from his mistakes. We all read and admired how he cried after last week's game-losing interception. To make the same mistake twice in three minutes today shows he did not learn how to look off the hot receiver, run or throw away the ball.

If it comes down to the same situation next week, would he throw another INT? I want him to start learning how to win games during the last minute, not come close but lose.

Cant blame Cambell. Ok it was poor decisions but if Moss and Portis hadnt muffed it right off the bat JC wouldnt have had another comeback on his mind.

Whether JC is to blame or not, I hope he stops fumbling practically every game (3 v. New England).

wow, your football knowledge is truly amazing, amazingly wrong!!!!!!!!!
every team doesnt do it,and they most certainly do not telegraph it the way Jason does,HAVE YOU EVER WATCHED AN NFL GAME BEFORE? have you not watched Campbell fumble from being blindsided these last games? how many of those were out of a shotgun snap where the snap count was anticipated?
Yes I have seen teams do it,but not every time,I just watched Warner out of the shotgun and he doesnt do it,and the good qb's like Favre will change their voice and cadence to draw the other teams offsides, you ever seen Campbell do that? please impress me some more of you football knowledge, like where you cant compare Romo to Campbell becuase he has 2 more yrs of riding the bench but only 3 more reg season starts

That's because Warner is playing at home right now. Why would he do a silent snap at home??

LOL who's amazingly wrong??

Not sure what you're watching but it's quite common around the league. It's called a silent snap.

Such highs and lows watching him. Great poise, hell of a long ball, doesnt bounce around all nervous like P. Manning, but he fumbles too much.

Cant have cake and eat it I guess but hell ,hes young. Im sure he will improve.

Wow, are you serious? Every team does it in shotgun formation when they are playing in hostile and noisy environment. Not only that but they also fake it to throw off defenders...it's a visual snap count. You need to watch more football.

our three key offensive players hindered us more than any other players today...

3 turnovers for the 'canes and 3 for the qb.
