Saw this guy play in the preseason Giant games and thought he would be their 4th receiver. Good possession guy obviously with his size. Caught about 15 balls and a couple of TDs. Worth a look--probably better than Toler...

Don't know anything about this Mix kid, I think the size is great, don't think we will see much or any of him, but anyway.
But speaking of mix, I'm curious why Caldwell isn't more into it..? Is he not getting it or what..? I thought this guy would have a chance to step up and get some playing time.
It appears they aren't impressed with him...?

It appears they aren't impressed with him...?Don't be surprised by Caldwell's lack of productivity. Show me a Florida WR that has had any success outside of Darrell Jackson. Here are a few Gator products that were 1st or 2nd round busts:
Reche Caldwell
Travis Taylor
Jabar Gafney
Jacquez Green
Taylor Jacobs
Chad Jackson
I may be missing others

I've been wondering the same thing. They said KM understood the offense having played in a similar one in San Diego. But Reche was his teammate so you'd figure he'd get it too.
As for Mix, doesn't seem like it could hurt. I'm more curious about the DeMulling release. With the injuries along the O-line I'm not sure why they would let him go. Only thing I could surmise is that Randy Thomas could be back in a game or two. Wouldn't that be something if he suited up on Sunday?

Ain't it the truth. Just like Penn State running backs. Outside of Larry Johnson of course.

Kenny Watson is not so bad. Franco Harris was great.

Man, I always thought Kenny Watson would have been fine as a third down back here. Tough to see him go.
As far as Penn State running backs, I was thinking of Ki-jana Carter, Blair Thomas, and Curtis Enis. Sure, the Nittany Lions will produce some good ball carriers here and there, but lately they've had some highly touted guys come into the NFL and fall flat on their faces.
