In the last two weeks something very important has happened. The offense is really starting to show signs that they just don't care what the defense does. That's what the elite teams do. It's a really big step. I know it's very early for all of us to think like this, but this is something so huge to build on. IMO.

I no longer think we are going to make the playoffs. Considering that TB won today and has a cake of a remaining schedule, TB edges us out for the 6th seed with the NYG taking the 5th seed. I'm encouraged by today (despite the loss), but I don't see us getting by with 9 wins and I don't think that 10 wins is a realistic expectation considering we can only afford one more loss and play @TB, @NYG, and DAL.

You're absolutely right. A few weeks back I thought the Saints would make a push (it doesn't look like they will now) and thought TB would be looking for a WC. Well, it looks like TB is going to get the NFC South spot, with us competing with Detroit for the final seed.

I'm sorry, but with our record and division game losses. We are done for the season. The Redskins have a lot to improve. Mainly, it is winning games in the 2nd half. That is the problem that the Redskins face now as well as last season.
