You all may read this game as a prelude for Campbell's success in the future. I do not. It could easily be his signature for future such losses. Missed the open man for a touchdown and consistently threw behind his receivers. If the Cowvomits don't play prevent defense, we're not even having this conversation to begin with.

There's always one, isn't there?

As weird as it sounds, this loss feels WAY better than the loss to Philly last week.

That's saying a lot, given that we played Dallas.

I'm proud how they fought today. Damn I wish Taylor was there to wipe the smirk off TO's grill.

That's saying a lot, given that we played Dallas. We gave the game to Philly when it was there for the taking. At least we took Dallas' best punch falling behind by 12 in the 4th quarter, and damn near coming back to take the lead. Campbell barely missed Moss for that go ahead score. I'm very proud of Campbell's play today.

When we lost to the Giants, it was all about allowing a team completely on the ropes to get back in the game, made even worse by a failure to convert when inside the 5 at the end of the game. When we lost to the Packers, it was all about a gazillion dropped balls and missed opportunities. When we lost to the Patriots, we all wondered how we could be that much worse than the best team in football. And when we lost to the Eagles, it was the Giants all over again.

But this was completely different. This was a loss where I thought, "Okay, this was nothing more than a tough game in which the opposition simply played a little bit better than us today." This was a road game against a very good team, and they won only because they were able to exploit our injuries. Nothing bad to be derived from this game, other than that we really miss our starters who are injured. That alone separates this from the other losses.

This has to be a confident-boosting game, and not just for JC, but for the defense and the entire receiving corps as well. Atta boys! Now let's go beat those Bucs!

Oh, and JC--my man--just work a little on leading your receivers.

I might agree, and sure I was drunk TOTALLY, but seriously did that ball from Rocky hit the ground? I thought he had his arm underneath it.

Ups to Matty. This was the team I thought we could yield this year. We were never going to be a 13 or 14 win team but I thought we could play like we did today all year. Maybe we can go forward and do what we did today play wise against everyone. If we do then we'll win our fair share.

EXACTLY. I dont think people go crazy after a loss like this; its the other types of losses we've had this year. We got outplayed by just a hair by the best team in the conference. I'm really upset/disspointed, but theres no shame in this loss like therew as last week/vs GB/vs NY/vs GB.

I also am proud of the the team. But, I am concerned that the D is giving up the big play again. I know part of it is Sean Taylor's absense, but how do we let TO beat us for TDs three and four. Why didn't we stick him at the line every time after he burned us twice?
