We are still listed as the number one rivalry in the NFL in any list of consequence. Besides rooting for the Skins, the thing I like best about the NFL is hating Dallas.
Besides, the Monday Night game and last year's miracle victory have kind of resparked things imo.
good points...also a win here while we are heavily unfavored would go a long way to restoring the rivalry...who cares if we beat them when we're equally as favored...besides us die hards of course

Don't you think the Hate Dallas crap is getting old? Sorry guys, I was in hate Dallas mode when Landry and Jimmy Johnson were around, but the game isn't much of a rivalry since Norv. Nobody outside of DC considers Skins/Boys as much of a rivalry anymore. It stinks because the game used to have the same feel as Michigan Ohio State, but it is lame now. Unless the Cowboys have a completely new roster in '08, I can see us not winning a game til '09. I just don't see getting all worked up about a game where we will be heavily favored to lose for the foreseable future until our team gets it act together and can stay healthy.
Au contraire mon frere. Hating dallas will never get old.
When did you become an expert on the Skins/cowboys rivalry demographic anyway? The fans in NC are extremely hard core on both sides and we get pretty fired up around here during dallas week.
Whether or not the intensity of our rivalry shows up on the field, I believe it's still alive and well in the hearts of the fans.

Skins/Cowboys is never ever going to be the way it use to be in the 70's 80's and early 90's. I just don't hate them like I use to. Perhaps it's free agency.

and this is a problem....
If you can't get on board with Skins vs. Dallas, I really wonder what you can get on board with. Just look at some of the classic games we've had in the past few seasons. The Monday Night Miracle, the blocked FG, trouncing them 35-7 in '05, etc.
and this is a problem....
How is that a problem?
Do you just bitch about everything?

Do you for some reason think its ok for the fans to be more into the game than the players. I would think under Gibbs the players would still be into this rivalry.
and no, i do not bitch about everything, but recently ive found it hard to come up with positive things to post on the board.

Just left a Dallas forum (i feel dirty). Was just curious to see what was being said. Ill be damn if Im gonna register to read entire threads but some of the titles were amusing.
Let the massacre begin.
Skins already making excuses.
Will be pitch and catch.
Could win with 3rd stringers.
Man what an early X-mas present a win would be.
