I'm thinking 8-1 and the Patriots game would have been a lot closer more like NE 35 WAS 21. I think Portis might have had 1,000 yards already with Jansen & Thomas. Just thinking all loud what do y'all think?

Assuming the teams we play have no injuries. Roughly the same. Would have won some we lost, may have lost some we won. We're a .500 type team give or take a game or two. I don't understand the love for Jansen. Hes been a great player for years for the skins, but I just don't think he's the Jon Jansen of old. If I had to guess, I'd guess he'll never start for the Redskins again.

I agree we would have had a much better record, but you gotta roll with the punches. Also im not sure about Portis' numbers.... him sitting out the pre-season really hurt his game. I expect that if Gibbs is around next year he wont allow the players to "work out" on their own.

Exactly. He hasn't been a top RT for at least 3 years. If doesn't ever start again, he'll have a good career in TV. He's always been solid on anything I've seen him on.

Really? I thought he was a very good tackle. I don't see him losing his job to a injury thought.

I think you could argue that Dallas and NE have been among the most injury free teams this year. Maybe we have 2 more wins at this point and a lot better chance in the remaining contests.

Jansen still has some productive years left. He'll be back in the starting lineup next year. Bank on it.

He'll definitely be back next year, if he's physically capable. We don't have anyone better. But I don't think he's the same player he was a few years back.

True enough he is old but look at guys like Larry Allen still playing still top notch at his position he has 2-4 at least in him.

No he's not the same, but he's still a quality RT.

I'll admit I was wrong on Wade. I thought he would fill in for Jansen and we wouldn't miss a beat. From what I've seen of Wade so far I've concluded Jansen is clearly the better player. Sorry Jon, I was wrong to doubt you!
