What about this guy on the practice squad that i thought was going to be activated? Anybody know what the deal is with him?


i think your talking about Espy, and hes injured right now, shocker i know!

I don't actually have a name for you, but I can't help but point out that we would be just as fine off in the short run with some first year perceived scrub, as we are with Jimmy Farris.

In the long run, we are WAY better off (potentially) with that same scrub than with Jimmy Farris.

Gibbs still has much to learn about personnel, and not a lot of time to do it.

We're not talking about a long term move here though. If Espy was available I'm sure he would have been activated. Farris is a warm body and even with the injuries is our #4 option at WR at best.

Agreed, that and he already knows a little bit about the team, and by a little bit, i mean a little bit.

Also it must be easier to have talks and get things started. If they have an agreement with him it might be quicker to just bring him in and get spun up. A new reciever has to be taught everything, Jimmy is a quick fix, thats all.... lets hope.

What little Ive seen of Farris he seems to have pretty good hands and a good work ethic.
