What an amazing run he's on. I'm pissed that Jeff is likely not going to win, but I have never seen anyone as hot as Johnson.
I think the only way Gordon can win is if Johnson doesn't finish.

Yeah pretty slim chance for sure. He and Chad and that team have the chemistry that Gordon and Evernham used to have...they are by far the smartest team.

I think I heard that Gordon and Johnson have both won almost half the races this season. That's huge.

Good for Jimmie. But I sure would have liked it had the season come down to the final race.

"Jimmie Johnson is amazing!"
You be careful with statements like that on this site!

Hendrick Motorsports has won over half the races this year, as Johnson has 10, Gordon has 6, Mears has 1, and Kyle Busch has 1. 18 wins in 35 races is pretty impressive for an organization.
It's pretty impressive the run that the 48 car has during the Chase. And if it weren't for Gordon pushing his way to a win at Talledega, Johnson would have 11 wins and would have wrapped up the Cup this past weekend.

I am very annoyed that Gordon isn't going to win it all, but Johnson is doing amazing. Also, I saw somewhere that Gordon has an average finish of 3.5 spots HIGHER than Johnson this year and will still lose...that sucks.

Johnson claimed the pole today for Sunday's race.
