Many around the site want to pour up the Kool Aid, I say go for it. It's great to support the team, and I do at all times. They're frustrating the crapola out of me right now though, because I just want to see them finish somebody like Gibbs' teams used to. Finishing somebody is all in your frame of mind though, and you can't just flip into that frame of mind in the 4th quarter. You need to practice with killer instinct, ride the team plane with a killer instinct, and play the first snap with a killer instinct.

I do think we have a chance against the Cowboys, and a formula that may work. I think the Cowboys' defense is soft. I just do. Roy Williams is pretty tough, but other than him, I think you can line up and if you bring the right team-wide attitude - ie I'm going to knock your effing teeth through your effing skull you blue-and-silver-wearing douchebag, and wipe that effing grin off your pretty-boy face you pansy ass excuse for a leader, attitude - then I think you can run run run and beat them into submission. This keeps the ball out of their hands, which we'll need to do because without Sean Taylor, Romo and TO and Witten are going to hurt us through the air plenty.

You just have to get mean. And I mean REALLY mean. If the Redskins want to talk about needing a killer instinct at the end of games, they better start by bringing a killer instinct at the beginning of the game. Making Dallas feel pain should be priority one, winning the game should be priority two. Not really, but I think you're smellin what I'm steppin in.

That's Dallas's only weakness. Romo can finesse it down the field real well. Their secondary can cover us pretty well. Ware can speed-rush his way to Campbell real well. Our only chance is to come out and take their spirit. There's only one way to overcome all these injuries... attitude.

You want a killer instinct, you better learn how to fight first.

They just match up so well against us. We can't plan to run because they attack the line of scrimmage so well. We can't plan to pass because they have so much speed in their secondary. We can't really stop the run because we can't stop anyone from running. We can't really stop the pass because our best pass defenders are injured.

We might as well line up and hit them in the mouth, because there isn't really any other good option.

I am SOOO tired of Romo's little sh%t eating grin and wise ass comments. I hope we drive his face in the turf multiple times.

I agree aboutthe attitude to an extent. The only problem with that is we have so many issues just getting fundamentals right. If come out with a huge attitude I worry it may take focus away from the little stuff we can't seem to do right.

I mean miracles do happen and all, but who on the defense could inflict pain? Landry is a definite possibility, but will Grilliams blitz him freely with Taylor out? We've assembled a bunch of character laden nice guys - Gibbs type guys as some would say. If we couldn't inflict pain in the Pats game when they were sticking it to us, how can we suddenly develop the capability to do it now?

I say the team needs to look at this game in this light: It's against the Dallas Cowboys. Records don't matter. I don't care how well one team is playing above the other, it's about two rivals lining up against each other and slugging it out. It's about pride. The team needs to look at it in that light.

I agree, but I think we're gonna need a few lucky breaks in this one to pull out a win. They are way more explosive and not nearly as banged up.

Dallas' weakness is the secondary. Roy Williams and Henry are big question marks IMO. And Newman is coming off an injury. The problem comes down to pass pro and that is my concern. Ware always gives Samuels trouble and Wade is just not that good.

We have stopped several teams from running on us so I'm not sure where that statement is coming from. But the pass defense is in for a long day. I bet Witten and Owens both go off.

As hurrkaine pointed out, I don't see Williams blitzing a lot with Taylor and Rogers out. I think our defense is going to struggle big time. If we want to win this game, our offense is going to have to score at least 28 points. We've got to continue putting the ball in JC's hands to have the chance to win because I don't see our newfound running game racking up 30 points.

As for Dallas' defense, I have respect for them. I agree with Schneed's point that the Dallas defense is not terribly "tough," but they're also pretty damn good. With Ware, Ellis, and Spencer coming off the edges, I fear for JC. Plus, historically, we've had a lot of trouble putting together good offenses in Dallas.

I sure wish that Sean Taylor could take out Tony Romo for the season Sunday, that would be sweet! Maybe he could pull off an LT on Joey T kind of move. I don't wish ill-will on anyone, unless they're an arrogant brat, overrated, to big for his breeches Dallas Cowboys QB! Of course I'm being bombastic here, but I really don't like that punk.

Impossible now of course...but that would be very ironic coming on the 22nd anniversary of Joey T's final game.
