You realize that Sean Taylor is out for at least 2 weeks and perhaps a month or more, right? I really think that we are going to realize just how much we miss him when teams start completing passes deep on us; something that has hardly happened this season.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Taylor in the lineup after this week.

I would, considering Tyer said he will sit two weeks and then be re-evaluated.

Dallas' weakness is the secondary. Roy Williams and Henry are big question marks IMO. And Newman is coming off an injury. The problem comes down to pass pro and that is my concern. Ware always gives Samuels trouble and Wade is just not that good.

We have stopped several teams from running on us so I'm not sure where that statement is coming from. But the pass defense is in for a long day. I bet Witten and Owens both go off.

Question mark? Henry? Anthony Henry? You mean the guy that is TIED for the NFL lead in interceptions Henry? The same guy that missed 3 straight games and is still TIED for the league lead in interceptions? That Henry?

Oh yeah...H U G E question mark there!

Also it's not like the Redskins recieving corp have been piling on the yards and lighting the scoreboard up anyway this season. What it took 9 games for a WR to finally get in to the end zone?

And this is DIFFERENT DeMarcus Ware than the Redskins saw the last 2 seasons. Ware does not line up strictly over LT. He is all over the place. He could ine up on the right for one play or on the left for another. HE is being used much differently under the new system.

The key to beating the Cowboys? Just do what New York did and that was isolate Shockey on Roy Williams. Shockey had a career high day in yards and receptions.

Isolate Cooley on Roy Williams and Cooley will have a career day too.

There, that is the only tip against my team that I will ever type, and I did it all for you guys!

Good post. Anthony Henry is one of the stronger CBs in the league. Not sure where we're getting the notion that he's anything but.

And Ware scares me big time.

That said, I think the 'Boys are vulnerable to a physical game. We talk about throwing the record out when these teams get together, and the reason that happens is the direct result of the intensity one team brings. The Redskins may be able to come in and raise the level of intensity on the Cowboys. If the Cowboys match the intensity, then you have to love Dallas' chances. But if the Skins can just scratch and claw and beat on the Cowboys, I think we've got a shot to run on Dallas.

The only way the Redskins have a shot of beating the Cowboys is to be more physical than the Cowboys, create turnovers and get a couple of big plays from special teams. The Skins are out-manned and are in for a long day if they don't create some turnovers.

I think the Skins will fight hard and try to keep it a close game in the first half.

Dallas owns the second half and that is when Washington has been going to the "let's not lose the game" mode this season. If this game was AT Washington, I would be scared. It would be the third straight away division game. But Dallas is playing home and the Skins are w/out Taylor. I llike their chances.

With that being said, I hope Dallas doesn't fall into the trap. They will have a home game with the Jets four days after they play the Skins and the Packers the Thursday after. I hope Wade is thinking the same way I am. Take care of the Skins and Packers, the Jets are an AFC team and they can afford to lose that one.

Arrogant? Maybe. Overrated? Not so sure. He is winning games and he is getting credit for it and takes his share of the blame.

As for keys to the game, and here is a Cowboys fan giving the Redskins the answer key, is the Skins offense, not defense. I personally think it comes down to, can the Skins keep up? The Cowboys will score, they scored 27 on what most think is the best team in the NFL. Gibbs has to come out firing and hope he can win a shoot-out. Because w/out Taylor, Romo is going to have a good day.

I'm sure he's overrated! It will be proven as so as the season continues to progress. I hate T.O. but I hope he gives Romo a verbal faceslap like he did to Garcia and McNabb at somepoint in the near future.

I say the team needs to look at this game in this light: It's against the Dallas Cowboys. Records don't matter. I don't care how well one team is playing above the other, it's about two rivals lining up against each other and slugging it out. It's about pride. The team needs to look at it in that light.

That has always seemed to matter only to the Cowchips.

I just don't get the feeling that there are too many Redskins that see it the way the fans do. I think to them, it's just another game, and the Cowchips are just another team. There hasn't been genuine hatred between these two teams since the days of Dexter Manley and Randy White. And even then it wasn't as heated as the George Allen days.
