I REALLY liked what I saw from the offense today....great rushing AND great passing! Why has that been so hard??? The only complaint from me is obviously the last red zone trip....6 tries and we can't get it in from the 9? Come on fellas...we get that TD and the games pretty much over.

And I'm REALLY hoping that the horrible defense we saw today was mainly a result of those injuries...I hope, I hope, I hope.....

Here's a silver lining, Campbell's first quarter was waaaayyy better than Peyton Manning's is right now.

Want the biggest silver lining? The Giants (who we still play again) and the Lions (who we beat) both lost. Realistically, we are fighting with these teams for a Wildcard spot. And they have 2 of the 5 toughest schedules over the remaining 7 weeks. I know anything can happen, but Cowboys and Packers are divsion winners and the West and South divisions will probably finish 7-9 or worse. Winning 4 of 7 will probably earn a berth and then we'll face Packers or Cowboys.

Don't forget we're still right there in the playoff picture. Only trailing Detroit, and New York by one game for the wildcard spot. The way I look at it the NFC East is out of reach, and we need to just focus on getting a wildcard spot which is still very possible.

Honestly, I will be happy to see this team finish at 10-6 even if 10-6 isn't enough to get us in the playoffs. I will be disappointed for us not to make the playoffs, but considering all the injuries this team has been racking up, us finishing above .500 will be a big turnaround from a year ago.

Yep, it amazes me too.Well, last year it would have been Brunell's fault, so Campbell is still in his year and a half grace period, so then Gibbs is next in line after the QB.

Nevermind that Campbell played the best game of his young career, it's Gibbs' fault for taking a bad timeout that once!

People can't grade anything objectively, I guess we will just have to live with it.

Yeah, the offense did everything that most of these fans have been asking for it to do all season long, but there is no mention of that whatsoever.Skinsguy, I'll agree with you there. This is the offensive gameplan that we've been looking for all year - Campbell stretched the field with some beautiful throws and Portis gashed the Philly D. I hope that we see more of this moving forward.

With Detroit's tough schedule - I don't see them winning more than 9 games and we own the tie break over them. It also helped that the Saints and Panthers lost. A wildcard for the Skins is still a decent possibility if they start taking care of their own business.

Yeah honestly, winning four of our next seven games doesn't seem too unrealistic to me. That of course means us cutting out the shooting ourselves in the foot routine that we did today.

the other silver lining is that clinton portis looked completely devastated after the loss... I love the guy and he looked like he was stabbed in the heart as he was walking off the field... I felt connected to him in a way because that's exactly what I felt.

I wish more guys felt that way...I love the guy's passion and his efforts to win. I said a couple of weeks ago I thought he was still the face of the franchise.... and to my surprise no one really agreed with me...
