Offiss, your MO is very clear - bitch about everything from Gibbs, to the players, to this site. You are the guy who complains about the summer being hotter than a furnace, the winter being colder than shit, the spring being wetter than a pool, the fall being too brown, your boss is Hitler, the waitress is slower than Corky from Life Goes On, you are going to die if you have to do X. We get it.

It has been old for quite some time and now it's beyond annoying. It's one thing to criticize, it's quite another to bitch. You don't criticize intelligently like other people (e.g., Schneed and GMScud), you bitch. You don't see the good and the bad, you only see the bad. You don't use any nuance and you never say anything with any degree of restraint. You are like the guy in my law school class who saw the world in black and white terms and couldn't understand why he was flunking out of school. Frankly, you remind me of my girlfriend when she is on the rag. Fortunately for me, I can just blow off my girlfriend and tell myself, "She'll be sane and rational again in a few days." Unfortunately, your snatch is apparently constantly bleeding like a stuck pig and you never change.

This post violates a few site rules and I don't care if I am censored by the other mods for it. I can deal with people criticizing the team (as I have on many, many, many occasions), but to hear someone do it ALL the time and to hear them bitch about this site is too much. I am going to invite you to do yourself and all of us a favor......walk away. If this site and this team suck so much, go become a Cowboys fan.

Kind of funny as usual with you that every one else has the problem, and of coarse starting with me, and now everyone else who disagrees with you, or posts statements that are not flatering towards the Gibbs led Skins should leave, individuals are not allowed to have their own opinions, they have to agree with you? Whatever you say Stalin. I have no problem with people who disagree with me but apparently you do, so I have to ask the question if you are so annoyed why don't you walk away? Is there something stopping you from doing that? The fact is I have been right about Gibbs from the get go, and unfortunately your hero has done nothing to prove me wrong, and that is whats really ticking you off isn't it? When an individual does the same thing wrong over and over, the method, or solution to fix it isn't going to change. For example 2+2=5 well we all know the answer is 4 don't we? But apparently you want to here something different, perhaps 3, or 6, well I can't help you there my opinion is that the answer is 4 and it ain't going to change, if you want a different answer then go find some one who doesn't know how to add.

Why don't you explain for a change just how we are going to turn this team around with gibbs in charge? Go ahead break it down for me so I can dissect it and explain how it wont happen, so when it doesn't happen we can see who really knows what they are talking about, would ya do that for me? I already know that you can't, and wont except this challenge! And I don't want to hear the 10 year plan either!

See you are like the simple minded moron who isn't smart enough to obtain leadership roles through merit, but still thinks he should be in charge, so to do so you have to go through by back door means to attempt to gain the notoriety you crave but yet aren't qualified, in other words it's up to everyone else to get out of your way, so you can get yours, Now I know why you like Gibbs so much, he's waiting for the other team to lose the game, we wouldn't want to score to much and hurt someones feelings now would we?

Please clear something up for me, is your girlfriend, and the guy who flunked out of your law school one in the same?

I am going to invite you to do yourself and all of us a favor......walk away. If this site and this team suck so much, go become a Cowboys fan.

I like the way you tried to link this site with my bashing of the skins as to drum up mod sympathy for your personal problems with me, how lawyer esc of you, simple, and childish, but a true lawyer none the less. I have always from day one been respectful to this site and to the members here until someone like yourself decides to make it personal, then I will lay into an individual who is asking for it just like yourself, otherwise I usually just keep disagreeing with them, I don't have to call them names and attack them personally like yourself, of coarse that is what people do when they have no more answers but can't admit defeat, they make it personal. I am sure your law school will at some point get to that chapter, it's titled how to sling mud when all else fails, you should get an A+, you really sound like a natural.

You should know as well as anyone else that GS's statements were stupid, inane, and completely inaccurate. If you can't see that, you should leave.

Ironic!

Offiss,

You failed to understand anything that I said. I have no problem with people who intelligently criticize the team. I have problems with people who view the team, any important issue, or the world in black and white terms and reduce everything to right and wrong, good v. evil, etc. Note that I have only asked about 2 people (including you) to leave this site in the past year or so. I'm particularly tired of people bitching about this site. My position is reasonable; if you don't like the site, be gone.

As for being a simple-minded moron, dude I am not the sharpest tool in the shed, but you are a mental midget and make me feel like Einstein. By the way, it's not "of coarse," it's "of course."

But, I'm done. No one wants to read these stupid personal attacks (including mine) and I don't feel like wasting my time. I'll just hit the ignore button and hopefully you will do the same.

Depth is a funny thing. Last year we were saying how much better the team would be if Prioleau hadn't gotten hurt and he was playing instead of Archuleta. This year we're lamenting needing Prioleau to play while Taylor sits out.

Prioleau is a good blitzer, but is ordinary in coverage. Arch was supposedly a good blitzer and ordinary in coverage, but ended up blowing at both.

Perhaps Grilliams will consider sending Prioleau on blitzes while keeping Landry in coverage.

I think there are two significant reasons for that, and they kind of go hand in hand.

1) Taylor is playing like the best safety in the NFL right now. He's intercepting a lot of passes and knocking down plenty more.

2) GW changed his defensive scheme with Taylor in mind. Taylor sits back playing center field because he's got that crazy range.

Our scheme is now much more reliant on Taylor's abilities than it was last year. That's why this hurts so much. If he's not back there, GW needs to re-adjust his scheme a bit, we'll have to gamble more and send the blitz.

This from the Tuesday Morning Quarterback today.

Stat of the Week No. 8: Since his return to the NFL, Joe Gibbs is only 17-13 when the Redskins lead at halftime.

Joe is really putting teams away isn't he!

I was flicking from sports station to sports station this morning and tuned in to Richard Justice's show in houston,he used to be a beat writer for the post, and right when i tuned into it he was saying I feel sorry for this guy,he should step down, the game has passed him bye, etc.I didnt know who he was talking about but as he kept talking I soon realized it was about Gibbs. He went on to say how he loves Gibbs, never met a better person in sports, the most competitive person he's ever met.He said back when he was covering the skins in Joes first go round a player made fun of his raquetball skills and said he could whip his ass,so Joe started getting up at 4am{after not going to bed till 2am}and started going to the court and practicing and ended up whipping the guys ass{Walter Stanley}I,like Richard Justice, have much respect and love for Gibbs, but I have to agree with Justice on the game passing him bye stuff

Didn't everyone say the game passed him by in 2005?

I think this discussion is needed to be made after the season. To have this discussion about Gibbs is really conceding that the season is over.

I don't want to think about Gibbs stepping down right now, but what I do think is - he needs to start stepping up and get this team going. He needs to get the team's energy and emotion up for the next game and keep it up for the rest of the season. And he needs to prepare better - game clock, game situations, possible injuries, and in-game strategic adjustments (this applies to Saunders and Williams too). Sometimes I don't understand that there are these problems and that he has a reputation for putting in long hours to prepare for the games.

Not only is Gibbs hyper-competitive, he was at one time the National 35-and-over U.S. Racquetball champion (in 1976).

I don't believe the game has passed Gibbs by. With the rash of injuries in the defensive secondary, I hope that Gibbs has the faith to trust Jason Campbell to carry a heavier load. If the gameplan against Philly was any indication, he's moving in that direction.
