Could this be it? Finally??
After last year's debacle, I just don't know anymore.
I was convinced after King changed his vote that Monk was a shoe-in.
Hopefully this changes it and the man FINALLY gets what he deserves.

"And now we come to Art Monk.
I'm tired of being a negative. I'm tired of all the impassioned letters asking me what did he ever do to me. I've been thinking long and hard about this. OK, he caught a lot of short passes but he also bought a lot of first downs, and he was a terrific team guy, well-respected and a pleasure from whom to borrow money."
I still think its a back-handed approach and doesn't properly credit Monk for ALL of his on the field attributes - but, if it removes an obstacle to Monk's election, I am all for it.
