Kevin Jones

So this guy all of a sudden decided he wanted to play. I picked him up last week and he got me some good #s - over 100 yds and a td. This week he didn't do so good with only 70 yards and no tds. I honestly don't think he will continue the success he had in that 3 game span, just look at his schedule.

Do you think it would be a smart move to try and trade him high while his value is still way up?? Or should I hold on to see if he gets a couple more games out?

Always trade high. The Lions, with Mike Martz, will be a pass first team. Kevin Jones will get 10-20 touches a game, but Kitna will be slingin' til the cows come home.

If you can get something for him, great. If not, it's not a bad 2nd or 3rd option off the bench.

If Kevin jones was on the waiver wire in your league last week then i want in that league...and lets raise the fee to $1000 a man!

He's going to do well from here on out. They try to stop the pass in that offense so he'll get easy yards and a lot of passes. If you can sell high, go for it...but he's too valuable to trade if you ask me.

I concur, I picked him up right after Detroit played the Skins in the Warpath vs Cowboys board league. He has solidified half of my running game. Because of the style of offense he gets easy yardage and TD's.

In my keeper league, Jones was my 15th round pick. I figured, why not take a chance on a proven starting RB, when we cannot keep our first round selection anyways.

It's hard to believe he was on any waiver wires this late in the year.
