At the top of your page, you'll find an immense assortment of fun an exciting tools. One of them, being "Search".

You'll find not just one, but at least 5 other threads talking about the same thing. This will help you avoid the inevitable embarrassment. It's a powerful tool. If after reading through these threads, you still have something to add. Post in one of the already existing threads.

I mean seriously... look.

I know Cowher has been discussed ad nauseaum, my point was that I am tired of mods carping about what should or should not be threads. We cant read thier minds as to what they think is thread-worthy. If mods only want what they feel is thread-worth material to become a thread then put out a list of allowable thread topics, otherwise stop complaining about what they feel is not a thread topic.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the 6th thread on Bill Cowher, which contains no information that couldn't be found or argued in the previous 5 threads, is probably going to get some "carping" from the mods.

You don't have to be able to read minds, a little common sense will work just fine.

So the list could start with no more Cowher threads. I guess we could add no more patrick Ramsey or LaVar Arrington threads. Thats 3. What else?

I would suggest that discussions about thread protocol and etiquette do not belong in the locker room. They have the Playbook or whatever for this.

Thank you. Let's do that.

You have to base your common sense off of a list??

Man at first I did not want him to be our next head coach. He is starting to grow on me more and more. I believe that we need a guy like him to lead us. He is touch as nails and will chew you out when you are not getting the job done. I saw him on the sidelines chatting with his former players. He was up in their faces like old times. I think we need to get him in the offseason. Just think with him on the sidelines and Gibbs in the front office we could get this ship sailing back right again.

How exactly would the team benefit by having Gibbs in the front office? Gibbs was happy to stick to coaching instead of dabbling in personnel during his first run, and he hasn't exactly shown himself to be any sort of genius (to say the very least) when given the chance to have greater say in personnel during his second run. As someone said already in this thread, it was Gibbs' coaching that was supposed to right this ship. He's never been, and never will be, a personnel guy, so there is nothing for the organization to gain in having him go upstairs, unless someone believes that having him on the sidelines is a detriment.

I dont but as they say, common sense isnt too common so others might. I though having a clear list would make it obvious for those lacking the common sense of thread starting and help stop the mods from getting frustrated with stupid redundant threads.
