Anyone know how many snaps Alexander got on offense? I would love to know, because I swear I saw him in on alot more than goaline. He was in as a TE and reported eligble.

I wonder if there is a coralation between his snaps and the running success we had this week.

I could swear that I saw Alexander on the D-line for a few plays as well. I heard it said that Alexander is the strongest guy on the team, so he's probably viewed as a solid project. Perhaps he could become a swing man like Raleigh McKenzie was for the Skins O-line in the late 80's / early 90's

He didn't do a particularly good job, but in case you couldn't have guessed, most of those plays came on the TD drive, and the drive that followed it. Those were our two best drives of the day in regulation, pretty much because we weren't f-ing around with 4 WR crap.

Well it doesn't seem like it is coincidential, because CP was running like normal this week, but you cant give him all of the credit, because we were running agains NY Jets.

Thanks. This will be interesting to watch this week.

13 times.

Thats incredible.
That is strictly an aggressive coaching adjustment to deal with Oline issues.
I was expecting 4-5 times.

The good part here is....he will only get better with time.
And if he's really strong...perhaps he could eventually become a guard.

I like the idea of adding Alexander plus the exisitng line plus Sellers lead blocking right up the gut

I think that is what Buges may be thinking.
I hope this concept jells fast, cause stronger competition is right around the corner....

It would be great if this guy filled a nice roll to fill the void until Randy Thomas gets back!

I think that DeMulling must really be bad to not take over for Fabini at this point and they are getting Alexander some reps just in case we lose another guard down the stretch.

We need to go 1 WR-power a lot more often when trying to run the football. If the coaches don't feel that Yoder is good enough to be playing, they should have gone out and gotten someone else. It's kind of stupid that we have to sit here in 3 WR sets and try to run against 7 man fronts. Even if the lineman do a perfect job, someone still comes free.
