The Lions are starting to impress me. They are running the ball and playing D. They weren't doing those two things when the Skins played them.
Who is "weakest" team with winning record?MTK 11-05-2007, 12:00 PM The Lions are starting to impress me. They are running the ball and playing D. Marinelli/Martz is not too unlike Gibbs/Saunders in that one is working with the other to create a more balanced attack. It helps the Lions that Kevin Jones is healthy again. The Lions looked great against the Broncos yesterday. However, it was the Broncos. The most overrated team in the league in my opinion. And most of the game the Broncos were "led" by Patrick Ramsey who made, not surprisingly, some horrific decisions and was not helped by his receivers who dropped some easy passes. skinsnut 11-05-2007, 12:04 PM On another note...there are several 500 teams....who is the best here? Chargers Saints Seahawks Panthers Bills Chiefs Are any of these teams better than the teams with winning records? Is this the right order from top to bottom? (I removed the Steelers...cause they are 5-2 and pretty good) I'm pretty much trying to get a feel for wildcard teams down the stretch Jaguars 5-3 Redskins 5-3 Ravens 4-3 Bucs 5-4 Chargers 4-4 Saints 4-4 Browns 5-3 Seahawks 4-4 Panthers 4-4 Bills 4-4 Chiefs 4-4 MTK 11-05-2007, 12:11 PM I've seen about 5 Lions games this year and they are definitely improving as a team. I switched over to the Lions game yesterday to get a glimpse of ol Patrick and I just had to laugh with some of the decisions he was making. He still forces balls into coverage and makes throws that just make you scratch your head in wonder. skinsfan69 11-05-2007, 12:56 PM On another note...there are several 500 teams....who is the best here? Buffalo got rid of Spikes, Nate C. and Willis, plus they have injuries and are playing rookies and they are 500. Could be over 500 if not for that miracle the Girls pulled out. Very impressive. But the 500 team playing the best football is NO. They are better than a 500 football team. They are going to be a factor in the NFC playoff race. GusFrerotte 11-05-2007, 01:02 PM Browns and Ravens are the weakest in the group, followed by us. skinsfan_nn 11-05-2007, 04:20 PM Does it really matter they all have winning records? AS WE DO...... hooskins 11-05-2007, 04:28 PM I would say te Lions, at two loses are a weak team w/ many wins. Vulta121 11-05-2007, 04:42 PM we are the weakest team. I hate to say it but its true. If we don't get our passing game going a little better we wont be able to beat any decent teams. EARTHQUAKE2689 11-05-2007, 05:42 PM like they said another thread to bitch about the skins. |
