This was a tough vote. Portis got the nod for me, with his break out game. Suisham had an outstanding game and was more than worthy of a game ball. LaRon Landry was a beast and had a great game, worthy of note.
Skins 23 Jets 20: who gets your game ball?hail_2_da_skins 11-05-2007, 11:21 AM This was a tough vote. Portis got the nod for me, with his break out game. Suisham had an outstanding game and was more than worthy of a game ball. LaRon Landry was a beast and had a great game, worthy of note. EARTHQUAKE2689 11-05-2007, 11:22 AM the 196 yds by portis is certainly a great effort in anyone's book but the game ball has to go to the kicker...suisham without him i think we maybe discussing a loss. Also if he doesnt kick the ball so damn short on the opening kickoff we are discussing a 7-10 pint win Twilbert07 11-05-2007, 11:23 AM Suisham gets an assist, but he would not even have been on the field five times if CP hadn't put ther team in FG position. EARTHQUAKE2689 11-05-2007, 11:26 AM Clinton Portis showed that he has alot left in the tank. But come next week we will have people talking about Steve Slaton and Ray Rice again. Portis should have been getting the ball 25-30 times a game before today and I think hooskins said it in an earlier thread, Portis gets stronger as the game goes on which is a cliche' but it is very true. Monkeydad 11-05-2007, 11:56 AM Portis has to get it If Suisham had a leg he would have kicked it behind the goaline and we win in regulation without 7 point from kickoff return That's ridiculous. You could also say if the other 10 guys on the field had been able to make a tackle on that play, we would've won in regulation. I voted for Portis. skinsnut 11-05-2007, 12:06 PM Also if he doesnt kick the ball so damn short on the opening kickoff we are discussing a 7-10 pint win That first kickoff was directional by design...that was coaching and poor coverage....actually the kick was perfect....yes...a couple other were shorter but had good hang time....one was a touchback which is very rare these days for any team....It is nice to know he has that sort of power. Riggo44 11-05-2007, 02:19 PM This is an easy one. C.P. CrazyCanuck 11-05-2007, 03:01 PM Portis was phenomenal but I gotta give my game ball to Swish. The guy was beyond clutch. Cowell 11-05-2007, 07:10 PM I'm giving the ball to Portis. I mean how can anyone not give the ball to Portis when the man accounted for most of our offense. Yes, Suisham was great but with almost 200 yards on the ground you have to give Portis the game ball. Beemnseven 11-05-2007, 07:13 PM Without Suisham, we score 8 points. Game Ball -- Suisham. End of story. |
