This game, more than any so far this season, depends on JC. Looking at the raw statistics on how bad our rushing attack is and the obscene lack of intensity displayed by the o-line and our backs, this outcome of this game will fall heavily on the shoulders of JC and the passing game.
Facing NE last week he looked like a true rookie. I watched the game w/ my whole family and people were asking me if Campbell was injured because of his reaction time to the defense and because of the way he held the ball in and out of the pocket. I don't think he's hurt but the NE defense completely rattled him. Also, he struggled in the Arizona game a bit. So this one rests w/ JC. If his confidence in himself (or his receivers) is very low we will lose this game 6-18. If Campbell surges we'll win 24-18.
By the way, anyone who doesn't see the Jets offense as a threat in this game is fooling themselves, badly. They don't give up on themselves or a game and we're sitting w/ a compromised 2nd corner in Smoot and jack shit behind him. If Springs goes down this season our d is F-U-C-K-E-D.
