Because our secret is out. Our offense is now so transparent. It got absolutely shut down two weeks in a row by the Cardinals and Patriots. We scored 21 on the Cards, but that's only because Warner turned it over and gave us a short field. Hell, one of those TDs was a defensive TD. Both teams applied blitz pressure up the middle and chased Campbell out of the pocket as an unhealthy Rabach and Fabini can't hold up in there. We only run to one side of the field, which makes us so much easier to defend. I still like our defense, even with Rogers hurt, so we'll be in games. But we're going to struggle to score.

Good post, and I am sure the coaches know that. Real question is can we do anything significant to our offense? Especially with the Oline injuries.

Yes we did beat them. Barely. McNabb missed a wide open Curtis on the goaline that would have tied the game. McNabb played terrible. It looks like he is coming around and is getting healthy. I would not expect him to play that bad again. When Philly comes down here it's going to go down to the wire.

Why should the Eagles get some credit for barely losing to some teams, while we don't get credit for beating the Eagles by more than a touchdown. And, McNabb didn't miss a wide open Curtis on the goaline. Curtis got his ass handed to him by Laron Landry. Moreover, even if Curtis had caught that ball, it would not have been a tied game. Curtis was hit by Landry at the 3 yard line, not in the end zone. Even assuming McNabb got the ball back and scored a TD, they would have had to convert for 2 to tie the game.

But, I think you are right and when Philly comes to D.C., it is going to be a good, close game. In fact Philly could beat us (on any given Sunday). But, I still don't think they are a good team.

So I told a friend of mine that the Redskins were going to the playoffs. He laughed, so I challenged him to a bet. If we go, I get to shave his head into a mohawk. If we don't go, he gets to shave my head in whatever fashion he so pleases. Keep in mind, we're lawyers and clients do not want to see their counsel wearing a mohawk.

I said yes, but that all depends on the next two weeks. If we don't win the next two weeks I am going to change to NO. But I truely beleive we will win the next two weeks.

I think that, sadly, we will lose one of the next two games. We should win both, but nothing is guaranteed. But, we will likely win a game or two we shouldn't win.

Certainly if they play Collins and let Al run the offense
If ever get a chance to play fantasy, look at the qb before you pick a wide receiver
Moss and Welker play with a qb

I understand why there is a lot of gloom and doom sentiment around here. I would have to be a blind optimist to think that we don't have some serious problems. The running game is the worst we've seen in years, the passing game has sputtered, we've lost Jansen and Rogers for the season, Thomas might not come back until mid-December, we barely beat Miami and Arizona, and we got demolished by the Patriots.

With all that being said, I strongly believe that this team will make the playoffs and here is why. Yes, the defense got demolished by the Patriots, but what defense wouldn't? The defense is stout and, with the emergence of Rocky McIntosh and the additions of guys like Laron Landry, London Fletcher, and even David Macklin, this defense will return to form next week. The offensive line is really banged up, but I cannot help but think that time itself and Buges' coaching up will help improve things (even if the O-line doesn't become a source of strength). Portis, Moss and Betts, IMO, are not the Hall of Famers we want them to be, but they are too good to continue playing like they have. Does anyone really think Portis, Moss, and Betts can play any worse? Jason Campbell is young and has just 14 starts under his belt and should improve with time. Finally, after this Sunday we should be 5-3 in a weak NFC with a schedule that isn't a cakewalk, but isn't exactly tough.

So, my question to you is, will the Redskins make the playoffs this season?

Yes.

That makes 59 real fans...40 who need to find a new team and 8 Patriots fans. :D

We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in Dallas,
we shall fight on the grass and on the turf,
we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Stadium , whatever the cost may be,
we shall fight against the Giants ,
we shall fight against Da Bears,
we shall fight in the New Sombrero and in the Meadowlands,
we shall fight in the Metrodome;
we shall never surrender!

So yea, like I said earlier were going to the playoffs.

I'm in shock after last weeks game. I have never seen a Redskin team look so helpless and lost in my entire life............

I voted yes but have to do some serious thinking about this team............
