i voted yes... but only if rock cartwright moves to number two on the depth chart behind cp... He is explosive on special teams. and betts should be traded because he cannot break a tackle....

Well I'm going to come out and say that I said no.

I said no because the Giants are looking like a whole new team after week 3. The realistic chances of our team winning the division playing like we are aren't very good. We would have to go beat the Giants in New York and Dallas probably twice just to be in contention.

We will probably be one of those 3-5 teams fighting for that wildcard spot and I just can't see us winning out in the end. Especially seeing as we don't play a team besides the Bucs who look like they would be fighting for the wildcard spot too. So our fate in the end will almost definitely be decided by another team.

For the record though I sure as hell hope we do make the playoffs. I just can't help but express my doubts.

We're 1-1 in our division so I don't really know. Our O looks like trash and key injuries are starting to creep on us on both sides of the ball. Honestly, it's kinda stupid to say yes before we even played Dallas and the Giants one more time.

Ask this question when we've played and won couple of more games against divisional foes and my answer would be yes.

Put me down for a Yes, as I look at the remaining schedule, I predict 3 losses at most finishing at 10-6 which is good enough for the post season.

Yes we will make the playoffs. Look who we are competing against for the final wildcard, assuming New York doesn't collapse again this year (which I don't know how you can assume given their recent history). Detroit, who we have a head to head advantage against, is the toughest foe. I like their team but I am very comfortable going against them down the stretch. Either New Orleans, Carolina, or Tampa Bay, whoever doesn't end up winning that division. Not scared of that challenge. Who else? San Francisco or Arizona? Puleeaze. Chicago? They are done.

If we can merely win a couple tough games I don't see how we can miss out. Yes last week was humbling but we are still good enough to beat anyone in the NFC, imo.

I say 'yes'. There are no other teams on our schedule that actually fill me with dread. Can we lose more games than we should? Yes. Do we have the personnel that will not let that happen? Yes. As bad as we have been playing, by that I mean given our potential, I think the best is yet to come.

The key, in my opinion, more so than the Cowboys and Giants games are going to be the games against the other teams in the hunt with us for a wild-card spot. We've already beaten two of them with the Lions and Cardinals. And we have an opportunity to beat two more with the Bucs and Bears.

We need to win the games we're expected to win. Starting this Sunday against the Jets

i voted weenie and just need to see more. i think this is a year where there are 2 good teams in the nfc and the rest are all about equal. have to see how the tiebreakers work out and how we fare in our divisional games.

I don't agree, but I respect you for having the cajones to say what you think. I think one can make a good case for us not making it, I'm just not buying it until we lose to a team like the Jets.

Ok, I did vote no.

Upon second thought I think that I should have voted yes. In our next 9 games I think we will beat the Jets, Buccaneers, Bills, Bears, Vikings, and Cowboys.
That means we will split our games with the Eagles and Cowboys, and lose to Giants again.

That will put us at 10 - 6 and we should be able to make it into the playoffs with that record and the weak NFC.

Still I don't feel that this team can pull it off the way we have been playing the last couple of weeks. And this isn't just from the Patriots game that I feel this way. I think that this team does not have an identity on offense. Our defense is there, but they will get murdered if they have to be on the field for over half of the game like they have been lately.

I think all of the tools are there for this offense to succeed, but with the injuries at the line, and the inconsistencies in play calling and catching the ball we are going to be very lucky to win 6 of our next 9. But if any team can do that, it would be the same core group that won out two years ago and made the playoffs.

Let all of the flaming begin.
