Has anyone checked the point spread on the game? New England By 17! That is total crap. What would you say is an accurate spread? NE by 7 or 8?
What the hell with the point spread on the game?Campbell17 10-27-2007, 09:27 AM Has anyone checked the point spread on the game? New England By 17! That is total crap. You have to consider the fact that New England has blown out every opponent it's faced this season, including Dallas, the leading candidate to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl, and you have to take into account the fact that everyone thinks Dallas is a better team than us. I'm not suprised by it, everyone, including myself, thinks that New England is this good, and the rest of the NFL is only this good. VTSkins897 10-27-2007, 10:12 AM agreed, i wouldn't take i personally Paintrain 10-27-2007, 10:45 AM The Pats are averaging 39.9 points per game, we are averaging 18.. Point spread makes sense to me.. EARTHQUAKE2689 10-27-2007, 11:13 AM it is what it is they have been averaging a 20 point victory all year Cowell 10-27-2007, 11:41 AM Yeah, New England is really that good. I don't think anyone stands a chance against them this year and I would put my money on them any day. EARTHQUAKE2689 10-27-2007, 11:55 AM Yeah, New England is really that good. I don't think anyone stands a chance against them this year and I would put my money on them any day. I wouldnt say that at all. FRPLG 10-27-2007, 12:18 PM The point spread does not represent what odds makers believe the Pats will win by. It represents the amount that will keep the money more evenly bet between the two teams. They have covered every game this year and twice by 15 or more. Their lines will continue to go up until they don't cover one. MTK 10-27-2007, 12:57 PM We already have a 4 page thread about the spread http://www.redskinswarpath.com/locker-room/20448-early-line-for-wash-ne-game.html |
