Ok, so after just reading an article from the AP about the Redskins being the ONLY team that Brady has never beaten, the fact that the Patriots haven't beaten the Redskins in 35 years, knowing how VERY superstitious Gibbs is, and with the recent beating of the Lions at home once again.....do any of you consider these things at all??? Does ANYONE put any stock in these things....other than the media of course....

I hope some reporter asks this question to Gibbs tomorrow so we can get Joe fired up like the Detroit game. We need to add fuel to the fire.

This is the type of stat that doesn't mean anything. Maybe Gwill has Brady figured out, but I doubt it.

I think that during the Brady era he might have played the skins once (2003) and lost. The rest of the losses go back Tony Eason, Steve Grogan, etc. The Redskins have won the last six meetings against the Patriots, who haven't beaten Washington since Oct. 1, 1972.

Why doens't the preseason count when we talk about these things? Can anyone forget the 41-0 loss they handed us in '06?

I think I've forgotten EVERYTHING about the 06 season...except that win against the Saints....that was nice.

Ummm, because it literally doesn't count.

Why doens't the preseason count when we talk about these things? Can anyone forget the 41-0 loss they handed us in '06? The teams are completely different from even last year. No London, No Landry, No Springs, No Smoot, No Portis, No Griffin, and we had Brunell at the helm. Finally Ben Watson said: "I was open a lot. The scheme they played allowed me to catch a lot of balls," he said. "Tom did a good job of finding me."

I remember that game very well. One thing I would be careful of. They threw it to Ben Watson like 50 times in one half. They were killing Marcus Washington. But I think he is out. If so that's a big loss for them. I don't think Kyle Brady can run like Watson. Otherwise that Brady vs. Redskins is a bunch of BS.
