Is anyone else getting sick and tired of hearing ESPN pumping this debate of which QB is better??

My question is, has ESPN manufactured this "issue", or are fans out there really debating this as hotly as ESPN would like us to believe.

I think while the debate is valid, probably more so now, it's definitely an attempt by ESPN to make a story. Can you imagine what it's going to be like on T.V. in two weeks when they actually play.

Get used to it... it's been going on for years.. and it'll be going on until after they retire as well.

Yeah I get that, my question is though as fans are we debating this topic or is this something that the media loves to focus on??

The game is going to have Super Bowl hype, no doubt.

I didn't know Pats and Colts are playing this weekend. If we can gauge ESPN's NLF coverage quality by Monday Night Football then we can presume ESPN is partly made of shit.

We wouldn't be complaining about any media coverage if one of the QBs involved was a Redskin.

I'm really not complaining, I just thought it was interesting when Phil Simms was on Mike & Mike yesterday and he seemed to think that this wasn't an issue that mattered much to the fans, and it was something that mattered more to the media.

only on colts and pats boards. In 03 and 04 everyone was picking Brady and 05, 06 everyone was picking Manning. All I know is colts wouldn't trade their guy and neither would the pats. But there are 30 other teams who would be ecstatic with either one

I think it does matter much more to the media than to the fans. I think this is because the media has to fill up their air time with something so they create these faux controversies/issues to fill the void.
