Guys listen we are probably playing the best team ever. This team has a legitimate chance to go 16-0 no other teams can say that. I live in Florida and I saw them destroy Miami. Obviously, we are alot better than Miami but the Pats are just that good they are going to win 42-24. And that is respectable against them.

Lets be realistic... our chances of winning are pretty slim. Maybe if our running game magically gets restored.......

NE 21
Was 22: Tie ball game until we get a safety in the 4th that was set up by a beautiful punt.
I'm not scared of playing and losing to NE. I would rather lose this game, and get a win for the GB game. NE is a top notch ball team, and they are playing big time football. There is no reason why they shouldn't win this game, but there are several reasons why we should be able to upset them. London Fletcher will have a career day, and Taylor will not be dropping any Ints.

Two career games in a row for Fletcher? Sounds good to me. Brady could have an off week this week, playing the best D so far this year against them. Sean Taylor will get a pick this week going up for a deep ball against Moss. Our D will keep us within 7 through mid-fourth quarter, but...
Suprise!
The skins offense will take charge late in the game and Nail the pats with 2 TD's in the 4th to put the game away late, shocking the football world.

It could happen.
And I've heard a lot of people say that Gibbs and Williams have been going conservative all year with this game in mind, but we know Gibbs would never do that.

If it's a blowout I think we'll be on the short (very short) end of that. Something like 27-7
But if we can keep it close, then I think we can win. Since we haven't lost by more than a TD in the last 10 games. I'll say we squeeze out the upset 20-16

How and the Hell are they going to score 17 points? You dont get points for just running the ball the whole game you have to get in the endzone. If the skins can run the ball so it runs all the clock down they could possible hold NE to a few points and still lose.
Your an angry mean person........:)

My prediction:
Gibbs and Saunders finally take the handcuffs off of JC...Moss discovers he does have hands again...and Portis figures out how to stay upright. ST and Landry catch Moss over the middle and give him the Malachi Crunch knocking him out early in the 1'st quarter and Rogers and Smoot get 2 INTs each as they double cover Stallworth like a blanket.
The result:
Redskins - 42
Patriots - 7
Will it happen? Probably not...but what the hell, I'm an optimist and we really have no downside this weekend. Aside from a chance at more injuries which we take a chance on every week anyway. Screw it! We get blown out, it's expected, we cover or win, we shock the world. :D :pimp:

I smell a stench. I detect a lot of cow pukes on this thread. The cow pukes have nothing better to do on their bye week but to try and rile up the Redskin fans. We know the Redskins are up against a juggernaut, in evidence of how the Pats dogged the Cowgirls. But the one thing that the Skins have that the Girls don't, is defense. We have won with defense before and that's our only chance on Sunday.

The Patriots have been on a roll this season (as well as other seasons), but even with that being said, The Redskins rarely ever get shut out of a "Big" game. If anything, I have witness Redskins upsetting a lot of great teams even with a losing record through out the season. One thing you need to understand, with Gibbs saying we are the underdog in the history of sports, he does that on purpose. Trust me, Gibbs and all of the head coaches are going to bring Redskins in this game well practiced and well prepared. It will be a good game.
Back in 2003, The Patriots fell to the Redskins 20-17 with Tom Brady starting. I think Tom Brady was picked off 3 times with interceptions. It is possible that it can happen again. After they suffered that loss, the Patriots had a wake up call and became very dominant. In history, The Patriots has never defeated the Redskins in over 35 years. It is called a curse!
Whether it is Colts, or Patriots, it is very hard for a team to go undefeated the whole entire season. The last team that went undefeated in the regular season was the Miami Dolphins and that was like back in 1972.
I personally feel this will be a good game. I don't think that if the Redskins DO win, it will be an "upset." These teams both of winning records. The Redskins COULD of been 5-0 because of the leading in the 2nd half. That is in the past and every team has flaws! Remember, this is the NFL people. Anything can happen! I've seen numerous times! Stop predicting against your team and actually start supporting it!

Welcome to the boards, NinjaLink. Good post. Are you sure the Pats have never beaten the Skins?
