Chunky Soup Click for Cans

ive tried this game like 3 times now and i can never hit the dang 70 yarder

what exactly is the end result? it could be that I'm blind, but I don't see the end goal of this contest, i doubt they are giving a can per click...
The only thing I see is that they are donating 2007 cans to the most improved team, but I'm not sure I understand how our clicks are directly relating to cans donated....
