I have been wondering if we were sandbagging, not on defense, but on offense. I could see them not wanting to show their hand to much on offense, and with all of the injuries, they had a built in excuse. I for one am against sandbagging, but we shall see.

LMAO...I am sorry, but if that is true then Gibbs is a GOD, but if he uses it on a regular season game, then it proves he is not.

The Redskins have two chances to beat the Patriots; slim and none. Uh oh, slim just left the building.

It's going to be a long day in New England. The only way the Skins can beat the Pats is to play solid defense, win the turnover battle and capitalize on all the Pats mistakes. The Skins will have to force at least three turnovers and commit none. Brady has to be frustrated going underneath all day and make some mistake trying to force it deep. The offense has to establish a strong running attack and hit a few big plays deep on play action.

Dude are you serious? You think that we are intationaly holding back the offense to "fool" other teams? Thomas and Jenson injuries are made up? WRs drop the ball on purpose?

This the NFL man not WWE, Randy Thomas and John Jenson are not going to come running out of the tunnel like Stone Cold at Wrestle Mania.

You just reminded me of something. In the middle of the 1st quarter to the halftime in the Dallas game Julius Jones was able to run on the Pats pretty effectively. The best I have seen since last years AFC Cahmp game. I am not sure if it was because they were respecting Romo and the pass or if the Pats did not respect the the Cowboys running game?
Either way, Dallas took the lead on mostly drives led my Jones' running. While it is imperative that we open up the passing game and keep them honest, we should not abandon the running game. Dallas might have have exposed a SLIGHT weakness in their defense, they may be vulnerable to a power running game. The only problem is in Julius Jones you have a bigger back that provides power running. I would not call a banged up Portis or Betts a power back, which may be our weakness.

I'm sorry to be the spelling police, but if you can't spell Jon Jansen you really shouldn't be lecturing other fans...

Gibbs: Redskins are 'biggest underdog in the history of sports' - NFL - Yahoo! Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-stagnantredskins&prov=ap&type=lgns)

A pretty bleak outlook. Hopefully it will give the offense some motivation. It sounds like the coaching staff feels the only possibility to win is to go all out agressive on offense.

Also has Portis really not rushed for over 100yds this season? I thought he did at least once

To hell with Portis. How about none of our WRs have a TD? Although big catches by Randle El, Moss and Cooley have led to TD's.

Woh I never said the injuries were fake. And the come running out of the tunnel like in the WWE is quite ridiculous.

But correct me if I am wrong, teams are adding new formations and plays to the play book every week. We may have been adding these plays all along, but not running them in games. This is done at every level of football. Teams work on something and then bring it out for the big game.

Same with the idea that the defense has not been blitzing so they unleash come this Sunday. Just an idea, or wishful thinking on why we haven’t looked so hot the last couple of weeks.

Why would we sandbag talent and plays at the risk of losing? correct me if I am wrong but we would receive one win if we beat the pariots correct? So why would we risk it in the previous weeks?

I am just saying sorry I don't mean to bust your balls.
