Tuna's Keys: Pats vs SkinsSFREDSKIN 10-23-2007, 11:38 PM ESPN Video Beta (http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/video/videopage?videoId=3074676&categoryId=2378529) heybigstar 10-23-2007, 11:41 PM Kind of misleading title (from ESPN.com) Parcells on how the Skins can stop the Pats: He really just discussed how many weapons the Pats have on O, and he implies that we need to stop all their weapons on O, any more insight than that? skinsguy 10-23-2007, 11:45 PM They definitely need to try to take Randy Moss out of the game. Not meaning to injure him, but to make sure he's covered. Brady is going to throw to him regardless, so we'll have to hope we're good at knocking the ball away in jump ball situations. skinsnut 10-24-2007, 12:31 AM Its time to break out the 11 man blitz! Oh yeah...even if that works, we still need to score....any of you guys a Guard? DCborn 10-24-2007, 01:07 AM Yep..."a big job" indeed...This is the biggest challenge the team has had in a long time. They will need their A+ Game on to win. Luxorreb 10-24-2007, 05:04 AM Redskins will win in Foxboro. Patriots will be over confident and not ready for the hits that the Washington defense will have waiting. My biggest concern is Rogers. He gets burned or drops easy INTs way too often. offiss 10-24-2007, 05:33 AM I would Put Taylor on Moss, he may be the only guy with the ability to cover Moss and intimidate him, he did a good job on him when he was with the Vikings. That will free up the rest of the defense to attack their Wr's in the secondary, then I would let Rogers deal with Stallworth, Stallworth is fast but he's not a big change of direction guy I think for the most part Rogers can handle him 1 on 1 [bold prediction I know], that frees up the other's to cover who ever they throw at us, Springs and Landry can handle them. I would also look to get Wilson in this game, speed and pass rush ability is more important here the Pats line is not monstrous they rely more on technic, force Brady to hold the ball a little longer than he likes and Wilson or Carter can take the long route around the ends and still get him. Do not play zone against the likes of Brady because he is way to smart and will rip you to shreds! Offensivly? Throw a lot of deep balls at them and hope you hit a few! vaoutlaws2006 10-24-2007, 10:14 AM can anyone say how hard is it to point out the obvious...guess thats why he's on sportscenter and not on a sideline anymore. |
