That combination does not bode well for our running game and our offense as a whole. Nevertheless, our defense wins this game. Redskins 24 (7 from D), Cardinals 14. I don't think my prediction exhibited arrogance (although quoting my own post does make me look "douche-ish"). I think I expected, along with at least several others, a hard-fought battle. SC Skins Fan 10-21-2007, 07:28 PM Remember also that up to about five minutes before kick-off we thought Tim Rattay would be at QB. I was not impressed by the Cardinals, though, and I still don't think they're a very good team. The defense looked like world-beaters because the Skins o-line is wretched. I didn't think the line would look that bad. I watched Fabini in the game last week and was actually appalled at how bad he was in the run game but I actually think he might be getting worse (or maybe Dockett is just a better player than he's faced previously). Is Rick DeMulling really worse than him or do the Skins just feel some sense of loyalty to Fabini since he was here all offseason and stepped into a tough situation when Thomas went down? I assume Buges would play the best guy, but if Fabini is seriously better than DeMulling than Rick must really suck.
