Czaban reported a little while ago on 980AM that Kurt Warner will start Sunday. Can anyone confirm this? If this is the case and Springs doesn't play, it could drastically change this Sunday's game...

GMScud 10-17-2007, 07:18 PM Whoa whoa, who said Springs won't play?? He's in Texas at his father's bedside. Ron Springs is in a coma and apparently it's not looking good. I don't think there's anyone out there, including Skins top brass, who would fault him for putting family before football. But there's a chance he'll miss the game because of missing all week on the practice field. I JUST THIS SECOND heard on ESPN that doctors told the family there is ZERO chance he will survive. What a shame. So sad. My thoughts and prayers go out to their family, and don't count on Springs being on the field Sunday. What a shitty double whammy. SmootSmack 10-17-2007, 07:29 PM Last I heard, Warner practiced today and won't require surgery but he's not expected to start until Nov. 4 for the Cardinals Sean Taylor 10-17-2007, 07:32 PM Springs father was a football player and so in Shawn. His dad would want him to play and have the game of his life........in loving memory. I have looked all of over the net and can't find anything to that effect. dmek25 10-17-2007, 08:23 PM i also heard it, but cant remember where. but i say just bring it. Warner injured could possibly get killed on game-day. and he already is good for a fumble or two skinsguy 10-17-2007, 08:40 PM That's what I heard too, but a friend of mine called me from his car and said he heard Czaban say it.
