Just like every Skins fan, I was pretty pissed off after the Giants game. Then, I got to thinking, well, maybe they needed a loss like that to wake them up, and it's good we got it out of the way early in the season. The Skins definitely learned they have to play two halves of football to win games, lessoned learned. Well, it appears I was wrong, they didn't learn shit from the Giants loss.
I don't understand what causes these self destructing losses. It's like there's this giant snowball effect, and things just keep getting worse and worse. I can deal with players making mistakes, Moss and Portis had some pretty big screw ups today. However, what I cannot deal with is freakin pouting and moping around on the sideline like a baby. I was shocked to see how Moss and Portis responded to their mistakes, I expect them to be leaders on the team, and show the rest of the team that when you make a mistake, you move on. It looked like they were just getting down on themselves, that's incredibily weak. It's funny how are young QB can shake off bad plays and come back swinging, but guys who have been in the league for a while cannot.

exactly, why was campbell the most poised?

I don't know, but I believe that when the rest of the team sees Portis and Moss moping around on the sidelines, it has an effect on them too. I'm glad to see Campbell can rise above it though.

I just heard Aikman say something about it.

I don't think they were jabbing at each other. It seemed like Portis went to explain himself and GW either flat out ignored him or put him in his place.

Either way, I don't think it was much of an argument.

Fumbles happen. The horrible thing about the play was that it was called in the first place. Did our staff of geniuses really think we were going to move the ball ninety yards by running vanilla running plays behind a collapsed OL.

They had tried to move the ball by wasting downs on line plunges in the series before. Frankly, I was screaming the second Portis headed to his left to yet another certain stuff. With that kind of play calling, how could we win. It was over even before the fumble.

This one was maybe the worse, most annoying self-inflicted losses I've ever seen. The Packers played well enough to score at most a couple of field goals and we should have scored 30.

Fumbles happen.

portis has turned the ball over 3 times in the last 3 games, and he's getting a lighter work load than he would if he were the premiere back (like the money he's making)

I love portis and the way he plays, but I, too was upset at how the guys did not respond and shake off the bad plays but gave up.

Moss benching himself was bad, but someone should've pulled him out before he got to it.

Portis moping around by himself after the fumble isn't good. I hope they can bounce back mentally and moss needs to figure out what's going on with his shit... he's been off all year.

I'm wondering if giving the guys all that time (short camp, allowing vets to workout offsite) is biting us in the ass, especially with all the injuries that are piling up.

stats are stats though. portis does not fumble that often. i imagine we will not see a lot of that garbage this year. moss, he straight up needs to spend more time w/ his young qb,and learn how to catch the f-in ball. none of our "playmakers" on offense(besides jason and randle el) spend any xtra time after practice. they put in their nine hours a day,and go home. like portis said, "anything over 9 hrs is a breach of my contract, hahaa.) yeah, that's real f-in funny while poor old jason's up at the park for 18 hrs a day, working with thrash, randle el, mcardell, but no moss and no lloyd?! is it possible this is why certain someone's are fumbling and dropping? you get what you put in and the sooner we figure that out the better....sad thing is we owned this game today minus a few bs plays. and as a beloved skins fan, i have no problem(but plenty of experience) in saying "there's always next week".....hail
