Aside from the horrible lost today, you have to start to scratch your head over the conditioning of this team.
Week in and week out, it's the same injury. Either groins or hamstring pulls. Today it couldn't have been more evident. We lose two starting offensive lineman to groin pulls.
Marcus doesn't suit up today. ARE and Moss both aren't 100% either.
What's really going on?

It's damn near impossible to determine why a team is injury-plagued. Is the training staff not doing their job? Is the training staff doing their job but the players are just being slack? Is it just a series of "bad luck"? The only person who can answer the first two questions are Redskins insiders - the staff or players. We're not going to see that ourselves, it's all taking place during the week in the gym and in practice.
Sometimes things just don't go your way no matter what you do.

Exactly, this question can't really be answered, unless a member of the coaching staff comes out and says it's either the fault of the strength and conditioning coaches, or unless they say it's just one of those things.
Either way, we are getting absolutely destroyed by these injuries. I've never seen this many hamstring/groin injuries in all my seasons as a fan.

i'll tell you why this is happening..guys getting too much rest in the preseason..you have to be ON THE FIELD in preseason to get into shape..coach holding guys back in order to 'start the season fresh' and now it is showing itself..
of course that's not always the case..stuff happens in football.

I don't blame conditioning at all for the muscle strains today. The O-linemen that were injured got caught in very awkward positions due to the slippery footing. In one regard, we should feel fortunate - at least Chris Samuels is healthy and playing at a very high level. I didn't hear KGB's name more than once or twice the entire game.

I was with my folks watching the Skins then the Cowboys game. Me and my dad talked about this very thing. I don't think these guys are doing anything in the offseason at all to stay in shape. You always hear about some linemen coming in really overweight during preseason, but the # of injuries in the league this season is amazing. Our depleted O line is going to be our downfall when all is said and done. These guys get paid gazillions to win, I think they should do all they can to stay in shape and stay healthy. A lot if not most college football teams always have their guys do weight training year round, doesn't the NFL? I know shit happens with bad twists ofthe knee, etc, but this season it is ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure our strength and conditioning routines have been consistent. At least more consistent then our reasons for losing...
One year Joe Gibbs it too hard in Camp, now we're not hard enough? I really don't think conditioning is an issue here.
Moss has had a history of injuries, and I don't think anyone is surprised that he's hurt. ARE surprises me, but it's the NFL, and it's hard to stay healthy.
I really think this is just a case of the injury bug biting us hard. It was wet out there today, so that may also have played a roll in this explosion of injuries. No conspiracy theories on the strength and condition unless we've got some solid evidence... which I think we really don't have right now.
