I don't know....I'm looking at David Patten tonight. When the guy was here, it was a groin thing week after week. Same thing with kicker we cut...though he had quad problems too.
It just seems to be a pattern with a particular type of injury, that's all.

I'm not say conditioning is an issue but that could also explain our 2nd half melt downs.

Late comer here, I think a large part of the injury issues have to fall on the shoulders of John Hastings. The off season programs have always shown a huge turnout and participation (I think it was 98% again this year?) so you have to wonder if he is not working enough flexibility and agility drills into the workout program. Remember one of the things that allowed Ray Brown to play into his 40's and remain so strong and agile was his flexibility, I read somewhere he would work Pilates into his workout routines and it helped him avoid a lot of the pulled and torn muscle injuries that we are seeing now.
The fact is that there are so many different players (now we hear that Cartwright is dinged up with a quad injury) playing so many different positions, the only common thread is the type of injury and the guy responsible for making sure they don't occur.

I think alot of us keep wondering why this injury keeps turning up. I didn't notice it during the first half but as soon as we came out of the locker and returned a kick an injury. It got me thinking...how many of the other injuries came after half-time? and could this be associated with maybe not stretching during half time? If you remember pre-season with Baltimore(I think) when the rains hit and the teams had to stop and go into the locker rooms this was a major concern. The coaches were afraid the team would come back out and not get a chance to stretch and they would start seeing alot of injuries. If most of the injuries did come after half time then something needs to be done about stretching in the locker room or put in a bunch of cycling machings and have the team ride and listen.lol.
