No one is suggesting that Santana Moss should be cut. Why is it when guys start getting called out, (when it's been long overdue) that translates into people thinking he should be cut?
It's not just today -- Moss has been lackluster all year. The fact that the offensive line has suffered injuries has nothing to do with Moss's dropped balls and fumbling.
Because most of the time it does and it will before the day is over with.

Moss was a piece of shit today. I like that Joe benched him at the end of the game in favor of McCardell. 6 or 7 drop balls is way too many from this receiving corp. Brandon Lloyd could have caught that ball for a TD. Yes, it was difficult but doesn't he pride himself on the spectacular catch? This is now TWO games that we have given away. Realistically we could be 5-0. sucks

Moss owes his game paycheck to Campbell and Cooley, the only two guys on the offense who stepped up today.
I suppose we're all entitled to an "off day," but for crying out loud it's like he left his brain in D.C. today.

I think I am going to take a different approach to this. Moss owes us a big game. Let's forget about this and move on to the Cardinals. I'm not going to join in with the whining.

I love Santana, and he will bounce back, but he definitely beat us today.

This is what I find slightly irritating:
Person A: "Man, Player X really had a bad game today. I wonder what his problem is?"
Person B: "Hey, let's not cut the guy just because he had a bad game."
To criticize a player for a bad game does not automatically mean that person thinks he should cut.

I agree he does.
He owes us more than one though. He should hang his head for today, then get REALLY pissed and work in practice. Maybe that's why he's doing so poorly, he's missed a TON of practices this season with his injuries.
