Yeah, but even if he IS placed on IR, if we make the post-season, couldn't he technically still play in the playoffs? I'm thinking that is true. He can also play special teams, of course, and figures to do a lot of blocking in the jumbo package (a lot of the hitting that James Thrash did). Thomas must have a very good chance at coming back.
