mooby 10-12-2007, 01:15 PM I think this would go in the locker room, but if you think it goes in the Parking Lot please move it.
But yeah, I'm making this thread for a reason. Everywhere I look, all I see is coverage of this game. NFL Total Access all friggin week, ESPN.com, NFL.com, absolutely everywhere. I've just about had it, I mean there are other games going on this week too. AMG! it's two 5-0 teams meeting. Who friggin cares other than Pats n Cowboys fans? All these sites/shows need to stfu. Over-analysis is such a thing, and this game is being overanalyzed to the fullest extent. I wouldn't be suprised if they started talking about which team's quality control assistants will be key to whoever wins' respective victory.
SmootSmack 10-12-2007, 01:19 PM It's a big game, two undefeated teams 1/3 of the way into the season. Both teams with a rich history. It should get coverage.
mooby 10-12-2007, 01:25 PM Well I know it should get coverage to some extent, but I think it's getting wayyy too much coverage. Look at this.
ESPN - Clayton: Expect plenty of offense from Patriots-Cowboys - NFL (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=clayton_john&id=3058669)
Go look at the right side of the page under where it says Scouts Inc. 10 out of 11 articles by them have to do with the Patriots and the Cowboys. In fact, most of the links on the right side of that page have to do with the Patriots or the Cowboys. There's even a link to an article with Rachel Nichols about Bill Bellichik's sweatshirt and what his players think of it.
TheBigD 10-12-2007, 01:31 PM But yeah, I'm making this thread for a reason. Everywhere I look, all I see is coverage of this game. You are 100% correct. It is sickening. Well, I put the Cowboys down to lose this one, so I don't believe all the hype that's going around. when they show those segments about Pats @ Cowboys, I just use the flipper and watch Ugly Betty :vomit:.
Monksdown 10-12-2007, 01:41 PM so boring, i cant watch nfl live or total access this week. It's so lopsided, it's disgusting. I know if i was one of their fans, I wouldnt care as much.
Chief X_Phackter 10-12-2007, 01:46 PM If it were the Redskins and Patriots at 5-0 you wouldn't be saying that. It is the game of the week, like it or not. It deserves the coverage.
Monksdown 10-12-2007, 01:50 PM No, I disagree. It's not my game of the week. And because of the over-coverage, we don't watch their programs. I can handle 25% of the broadcast being about the most important game of the week, not 75%.
And i admitted that i would be more into it if they were our teams. But their not. So feed the majority, not the minority. Don't forget about us!
firstdown 10-12-2007, 01:51 PM I agree its a bit over done but thats sports these days and I would have to agree that its the biggest match up of the year. I did hear its been like 40 some years sense two teams this far into the season have matched up at 5-0.
70Chip 10-12-2007, 01:56 PM I'm not worried about all the hype at this point. If Dallas, loses which seems the most likely outcome, then it just means that more people will have been made aware of their ignominious failure. Be patient folks. We will settle all the family business after Halloween.
scowan 10-12-2007, 02:16 PM Well, all I can say is I live in the Titans market so we are getting the Titans/Bucs game followed by the Cowboys/Pats. I am going over to a friend's house who has Sunday ticket to watch the most important game of the weekend SKINS @ PACKERS!!!!
