People like Frank Caliendo (http://www.frankcaliendo.com/) can make a living off of the Redskins. The material never seems to run dry in D.C.
We all had some laughs at the Redskins last year when the big money they spent in free agency failed to yield significant results. One of their marquee additions, safety Adam Archuleta, was such a bomb he was traded for a sixth round draft pick.
But something funny happened on the way to the monologue. The Redskins, it seems, aren't a good punch line anymore. At 3-1, they are one of the NFL’s surprise teams. And their future looks impressive.

Redskins and the Cowboys will continue to be a laughingstock until they win consistently like they did back in the 80's and 90's. They've set the bar so high that if they don't do well they'll be the butt of all jokes.

Proof positive of how the opinions of critics can/will change when you win games. Dallas/New England wouldn't so talked about if they were not winning, and their upcoming game will be hyped to no end because they're both undefeated.

The more the Redskins win, the more they'll be favorably viewed. It's no secret what winning will do.

Hey, I am just glad to FINALLY see some respect from the media for the Redskins.

I couldn't agree more about the Skins finally getting respect. Although I do not think they get all the repsect they deserve it just seems like the jokes have subsided. I don't hear any media outlets circling the wagons for the Skins but I also don't hear about overpaid free agents either. I hope the Skins go on to show that last year was the fluke.

Only if you can make similar statements about the Skins being crushed by the Pats. It's football and as they say "Any Given Sunday."

Don't get me wrong, I'd very much like to see them crush Dallas but wishing alone won't make it so. Pats need to bring their "A" game or they'll lose.

I disagree, the Pats have already shown that they can beat teams with their "B" game. They were not playing up tp snuff against Cleveland and still racked up over 30 points.

For Dallas to have a chance, the Cowboys have to show up with 60 full minutes of thier "A" game and force NE into thier "C" game. An "A-" effort by Dallas wont do. That is how much respect I have for the Patriots this year.

TO's stunt would seem to indicate that the Cowboys are not underestimating the pats. However, if both teams play up to their usual standards the pats should win handily. The thing about the cowboys is that they have not played an Offense that is capable of testing them in the passing game...hello Tom Brady. I don't like the patriots much b/c i think Belicheck is a douche but i'll be rooting for them this weekend.
