Wow, nice jump this week.

I'd be more than happy to see us ranked number 3 at some point in the near future (the Colts and Patriots are just studs). I don't put a lot of stock into these internet power rankings, but it is good to see us in the top 10.

I thought the Cowboys would go down a notch after last night's shaky performance.

Top 10 for the Skins, nice. Let's just keep it going!

We are third in the NFC according to this.

Yeah, we and the Chicago Bears both jumped the most with 5.

Everyone remain calm. don't make bold predictions to your friends. i am very superstitious. And the more of us out there pumping ourselves up, the more likely (knock on wood) we'll struggle Sunday.

knock on wood
knock on wood
knock on wood

1 week at a time. haha

The bad news is that the Cowboys are looking very good this year. The good news is that, aside from Dallas and Green Bay, NO team in the NFC looks very formidable. If NFC teams keep playing like they have been thus far, we should go deep into the playoffs.

Is it just me, or is it a down year for most big name players and most teams in general?Shawn Alexander, LT, Larry Johnson, Frank Gore, Marc Bulger, Drew Brees, Donovan McNabb, Steve Smith, and others who usually are top-performers are stumbling out of the gate. Teams like the Saints, Eagles, Bears, Charger, Bengals and others are struggling. What's up?

It's still very early in the season. Such a long way to go and we all know how things can turn for the worse or the better. Like an earlier post...ONE WEEK AT A TIME!

I've noticed the same thing. I've never been a big Alexander fan to begin with. LJ? Just shows you what happens when you when lose two Pro-Bowlers and your starting QB.

I'll add, on a somewhat (homer) related noted, of the young guns, JC is playing as well as any of them if you ask me.

I have a thread where I'm following their respective stats, but I'll wait until after the GB game to post it:)

I agree that it seems to be a down year for big names but Steve Smith is doing fine. Recievers usually have a week or two every year where they don't put up great numbers and the fact that David Carr is behind center is making it that much harder for him to get touches over the past two weeks.

As far as the Redskins are concerned I'm a little scared. I'm not used to being in the top 10.
