Emmitt is horrible. The guy needs speech lessons or something, he sounds like he's got marbles in his mouth.

i think he needs an enema to clear his brain out!!!

I thought it was just as bad as they keep cutting back to them for what seems like after every play. It breaks up the flow of the game and its like they want to tell us what teams are doing rather then letting us watch. Its nice that they cut back just in time to see the snap of the ball then back to them. I know its not that bad and announcers have never really bothered me before and I just use to kind of laugh as people here would complain. It was that Philly game that gave me the impression that these guys in the booth thought they were more important then what was going on, on the field.

I'm totally sick of the cutting to the booth and then just in time back to the snap. It sets my nerves on edge. One more game of thinking the announcers are the show and I'm through with MNF. It infuriates me when they ramble on about something instead of identifying the tackler. I simply can't stand those morons and their stupid fluff.

Well I told you guys that this year ESPN was drastically cutting back on the "guests in the booth" but that there would still be some occassions when it would occur, but they would be more athletes and fewer actors/musicians

Parcells is very good. I like Keyshawn. Young is average. Emmitt needs some serious work.

Yeah, Parcells is good, offers a lot of insight.
Keyshawn has good comments but needs to work on his delivery. He seems to be very monotonous.
I like Young, this is not the first time I've heard someone say he's not very good, or average. Why do you guys think he's not very good?
Totally agree with Emmitt too...he only there because of his distinguished football career. I'd take Sterling Sharpe over him any day.

You know, a lot of times, my wife and I will just mute the TV and watch the game. It's a lot more peaceful at times...give that a try.

I haven't watched a full broadcast of MNF since the Skins-Eagles game, but from the bits I have seen since that time the broadcast seems much improved. Seems like they are letting Jaws do more analysis and Kornheiser is backing away from his 'aw-shucks its a football game and I'm confused' routine and actually providing some relevant comments and setting up Jaws better than he was previously. Clearly I credit SmootSmack with all of these improvements. Well done sir.

Were we watching the same MNF? As I recall the crew was swinging from the Romo's nutsack even though he threw 5 picks and fumbled once. And weren't they dogging the Bills all night long?

These guys are 100% trash and make watching MNF unbearable.

I didn't watch the game, but I bet they were like a bunch of high school girls drooling over twitch he made.

See, that is why I think this is subjective. I was watching the game with my borther, a Skins fan, and I was telling how Tony is being a total homer (I've heard him say that before) and just tries to make Dallas look bad, and Romo helped him a lot.

I have to say, Mike and Jaws were acting little over-board. Come on, after Romo threw 4 INTs, they still kept talking about how he is going to come back. Anyone else would be talking about Brad Johnson and why he is not playing.

Oh, make no mistake about it Tony K. is an absolute homer and he makes no bones about it. I'm kinda of suprised they would have him call games the way he loves the Skins.

That being said, I think it's possible he goes out of his way to hate on Dallas some because of the lopsided attention they seem to get in the media.
