I wanted CJ but I was really happy with the Landry pick. I love the kid...he plays with a passion and throws pretty funny tantrums on the field...ask Kevin Jones, he knows who Landry be.

I'm glad they took Landry, but I wouldn't mind CJ either still. Before he got hurt early on against Philly on a pretty wicked shot, CJ had 10 receptions averaging 18.9 yards per and had 2 TDs as the 3rd wr so it's definitely too early to say he's a bust. if anything he and Landry have been pretty even production wise despite CJ missing a game and a half.

CJ is a rook and not to be written off, and coming of an injury.

I however, NEVER wanted CJ in DC. We got the player we needed in Landry. Go figure they actually know what they are doing......

I'm happy CJ wasn't 100%, because he's nasty. Although Roy Williams is nasty too, and he didn't do squat either.

Let's not forget Landry sealed the Philly win with that last thunderous hit on "White Lightning". How many games has C. "The Other" Johnson won singlehandedly for Detroit?

LaRon was a bomb pick. Arguably the best defender in the draft.

Agreed. He and Taylor seem to mesh real well and that's as important as Landry being the beast that he is.

Hail.. first time poster, long time reader. just wanted to comment on the secondary. nasty. we held the #1 passing offense to 76yrds., and macklin wasn't even active. we constantly brought pressure and didn't even apply the blitz too often if at all.(memory a little fuzzy due to well, you know, alcohol:) the defense allowed a measely 144 total yards to a ferocious offense. anyone thinking the giants game could possibly be a fluke?,even though they don't look too shabby right now. if we continue to apply and execute the playcalling we did sunday, we stand a good chance. green bay will be tough, but they can be beat. stay positive and go skins.
