You know, I'm happy the Bears won. This will take some of the hype down from Brett and the Pack.
I'm So Tired Of The Brett Favre Lovefest!!Cowell 10-08-2007, 12:46 AM You know, I'm happy the Bears won. This will take some of the hype down from Brett and the Pack. EternalEnigma21 10-08-2007, 12:47 AM i thought for a sec that was a td at the last second... that would have been a hell of a game, but Im glad the nfc is becoming more and more balanced... We seem to do better against "hyped teams" Cowell 10-08-2007, 12:49 AM Yeah, but they are a very one-dimensional team still. I think we have a good shot next week, even if it is in Lambeau. wilsowilso 10-08-2007, 12:51 AM But now we get a ticked off Packers team. We seem to do better against "hyped teams" I agree. The Packers are going to be pissed. One good thing is I bet the whole team got to watch this game. Except for Portis and Cooley. I bet they are in AC as we speak. DCborn 10-08-2007, 12:52 AM No ...Brett come back game here....BAD 2min.drill and clock control. Here comes the Redskins cheese heads SmootSmack 10-08-2007, 01:00 AM Yeah, but they are a very one-dimensional team still. I think we have a good shot next week, even if it is in Lambeau. I think we have a good shot too, just saying Pack will be pissed JWsleep 10-08-2007, 01:45 AM For all that Favre-love, that pick to Urlacher was vintage Brett. About time we saw some of that, given how good he's been this year. Talk about playing not to lose! The Pack just shut their offense down and let the Bears (!!!) back in it. And that TD throw by Griese was a bold call, especially for Lovey. I am not that impressed with the Pack--but if John Madden's long-time man-crush gets his gunslinger action going, they can be pretty good. We may well have a bit of a let-down (psychologically, it will be hard to get as pumped up as after that horid Giants loss). But if GW brings the D and we get some TOs, I think the pack will get pretty worried pretty fast. I don't think anyone quite believes the hype up there--a few tough TOs, after what happened against the bears, and we may be able to get it done. Hope Moss and ARE are back though. Those CBs are old and slow, and they grab and hold on every friggin play. We can get behind them. PS Anyone else enjoying watching AA play for ANYONE BUT US? I am. He is weak. SanFranSkinsFan 10-08-2007, 01:51 AM James Jones lost the game for the Packers. Brett was OK but he's not superman. He deserves props but the lovefest is extreme... I thought the Packers' playcalling was pathetic in the 2nd half. If we stuff their crappy running game then we'll be OK. How is Smoot doing? I did not see final injury status on him. Just a stinger for Smoot. He'll be fine for next week |
