Another thing we can add to this...The RAIDERS are in first place!!!

No kidding! Doormat of the NFL last year, got rid of their "best player", couldn't sign their #1 draft pick...and yet doing good so far! That being said, I don't see them finishing in 1st place, but just goes to show you that these days in the NFL....any team can win at any time.

I was in Houston on Thursday and Friday for a conference. Had originally planned (backed when I booked my flight) to stay for the weekend and attend the game with a buddy of mine).

But due to unfortunate and unforeseen events earlier this week, I took the redeye back to CT yesterday morning and drove up to Cape Cod for my buddy's funeral. Drove back down this morning

Understand why you couldn't go--again, my sincere condolences. But if you're ever back down here, I am one of the few skins fans in this town! Send me a message if you do.

I talked to a few folks who were there--needless to say, they had a wild time. Nice to see the Texans doing something, now that I have to hear about them all the time! And it keeps the Dallas hype down.

San Diego really bounced back after all the pain Norvil was getting. Glad it was at the broncs expense--worst home loss ever, or close.

We know this. San Diego's not bad and the Donkeys are pretty bad. Also Titans D is probably fantasy-worthy and Bears aren't quite dead yet. Joey Harrington is still bad and Kenton Keith is kinda good. Romo smiles a lot, hope he's not manana.

Houston looks like it is doing all the right things. changing qbacks, and adding Gary Kubiak really improves the franchise. and maybe not taking Reggie Bush was the right move?
