Ok, for the third time my 360 has taken a giant steaming dump right on my chest. It's getting old. This time I got the ring of death along with the added bonus of a nice quarter inch wide groove gouged into my copy of Madden 08 along the outer circumference of the disc. The noise it made was something akin to a cross between a blender and a hyundai. When I went to pull the 360 out of the console it was red freakin' hot. Hot enough to burn my hands.

I have sent it off to M$ twice for repairs. I bought it within 2 or 3 months of launch and I think I just got a lemon. I think I could get it repaired, and I may do that but what do you guys think of me just dropping the coin on a new one? I was thinking about that Limited Halo Edition?

I am thinking you should buy a warranty on the damn thing at Gamestop or Best Buy and then just walk in and pick another one up like I did!

cute.

Seriously, WTF? They neeed to crack down on those sweatshop workers. IF the chinese don't want to do it, there's people in third world countries that would love to work for 4 cents an hour.

See, hearing all these cautionary tales about the 360 are really making me not want one. I've been deciding between all three and I keep hearing about these failing...

Now you've done it. Prepare for smoking and Korean car sounds.

stop the presses, your talking to the master of this system, the 360, first dont go out and buy another one, call mircosoft and see how long your warranty is on is left, and you can buy a extra year for 24.95, then insist if this happens again that either, you want a full refund or they send you out the new 360 elite and you will call it even, promise you it will work, you can request dearly that if this keeps happen, you want a full refund of the purchase price,.......(please stll have your receipt) and hit me back and let me know
