freddyg12 10-03-2007, 11:17 AM my prediction included 4 Det. FGs & 1 TD, as I don't see any way we can shut them down, but maybe bend don't break on D.
The question for me in this game is w/the D. Will GW go after Kitna more often than not, or will we play off the wr's in the cover 3 or 2 to prevent the big play & rely on the d line for pressure?
I see GW mixing up the calls a lot in this one & he'll have to send Landry & Rocky after Kitna a no. of times. Kitna's been sacked a lot this year, Martz has a spurrier like protection scheme. On the flip side, they have 4 good wr's & can break plays.
On offense, there are so many questions. I don't know what to expect.
jdlea 10-03-2007, 11:26 AM Skins 23, Lions 10
I've got the D shutting down the passing attack with 2 key interceptions. One by Landry and *gasp* one by Rogers. Rogers will jump a route and take his back for six. Landry's will come in the back of the end zone and they'll take the touchback preserving the lead before halftime. The 2nd half starts with a 13 - 10 Skins lead and then the running begins with long drives all second half the Skins manage to add 10 more and the D remains stout.
skinsguy 10-03-2007, 11:27 AM One loss and some people are doubting already?
Isn't that the truth! And if you question them, you get accused of "drinking the kool-aid!" Well you know what, I like kool-aid! Tropical punch is my favorite flavor. I also like V-8 Splash.
With that said, the Redskins will pull this one out.
Redskins - 24
Lions - 21
Overtime Victory.
DiehardSkin88 10-03-2007, 11:28 AM Ima put it this way, our defense held eagles to 12 points and they score 58 on the sorry ass lions..... COME ON NOW! Lions are untested, played scrubs. This is their first test, and they will get wrecked.
Skins 35
Lions 21
Cambell has over 300 yards 2 tds, sellars gets 1, smoot takes it to the house
DiehardSkin88 10-03-2007, 11:29 AM and portis of course gets 1 too
skinsguy 10-03-2007, 11:31 AM Think about it folks...
The Lions got blew up against the Eagles. A team we handled pretty well and a team that couldn't even sniff the End Zone against the Giants. The Lions are pretenders.
redsk1 10-03-2007, 11:31 AM This pisses me off. We are going up against a team that leads the league in sacks allowed, is ranked 32nd against the pass and yards allowed and I'm posting on the Warpath where supposed Skins fans are predicting a loss!! Come on Guys! We are going to open it up this Sunday!
Let me understand....are a few of you predicting the Lions to win, so that when we all log back in after the game....you can say "I told you so" ??
My point is... I dont belive that I will EVER post a prediction of the Skins losing. Just can't, just won't. Cause I believe in them. And I have nothing to gain by predicting a loss.
Let the flaming begin.....:o)
The Lions are capable of scoring 24 pts against most teams. Add that to the fact that the skins have shown they are incapable of scoring 24 pts agains most teams. I don't know what we are going to get Sunday. I truly believe we should win, no question. Its not out of the realm of possibility for us to lose though. Alright here goes...
Skins 27 (Lloyd has career day w/ 3 td catches and 200 yards)
Lions 21
EARTHQUAKE2689 10-03-2007, 11:36 AM In case you guys havent noticed. The Lions have given up the most sacks of any team all season. So I think that we will have 4 sacks at least and force at least 4 turnovers and I still think we win 35-20, with the Lions scoring a late TD.

One loss and some people think Detroit will take us to overtime?
Takeuon 10-03-2007, 12:26 PM Oh calm down, or start your own thread titled "your prediction on how much the Redskins will win this game by"
I think it's possible to be a fan, and still predict that your team is going to lose. Doesn't mean I want them to, but based on performance, injuries, hunch, the alignment of the planets, or whatever, I think they might...
Thus my prediction.
Get over it.
Your right...maybe I just need to see a few more losses before I can start predicting them.
Sorry to say this week won't be one of them though.
Talk to me before Oct 28th when we play The Patriots...you might
squeeze one out of me then :cheeky-sm
