Although it's two weeks of feeling like crap rather than one, the time is right to nip the "No heart play" (of the Giants 2nd half) in the bud.

2 offensive linemen is "awful banged up"?
Sure, those 2 are major losses, but overall, we've been very healthy, unlike last season.
Moss, Daniels and Smoot have some minor nicks, but compared to other teams' injury reports, we're VERY healthy.

The whole right side of the O-line is new
McIntosh and Washington are banged up
Daniels and Griffin are banged up
Smoot and Springs haven't been healthy
Portis has nagging injuries
Moss is banged up (see the Keenan thread)
Lloyd is hurt...oh wait, nope he just doesn't play
I'd say a week off would be beneficial.
Atleast I get to watch my second favorite team play this week; The team playing the cowboys!

No doubt, I'm a huge Rams fan this weekend. You never know they might get lucky.:dallas:

The poll on Redskins.com this week asks "Which Redskins player you would most want to hang out with during the bye week."
Cooley is in the lead of course. :)

To me it seems like we've been hit unusually hard with injuries. If you think about it, since Gibbs has been back, only in 2005 was there a season where we didn't have a significant injury to a key player each year...
2004 -- Jon Jansen
2005 -- Our healthiest year, but losing David Patten really hurt towards the end of that season.
2006 -- Shawn Springs, Clinton Portis
2007 -- Jon Jansen, Randy Thomas, ... ???
So yeah, I'd say we've been snake-bit with injuries pretty bad the last few seasons.
