They talked about why he signed with the 'Skins and how he could help the team. I did find it interesting when Mort asked him about the offense and how familiar he was with it. McCardell said that San Diego ran almost the same thing, with some subtle differences. Do you guys think he could possibly help and be a factor? Sorry no link. Nothing against them.... A young WR who's been through training camp has more value now than some tired retread WR who is trying to learn a limited playbook. SouperMeister 10-01-2007, 08:39 AM We should have kept McCardell and cut Desmond Howard when we drafted both in 1992. I've heard it said that some players knew that Howard was a monumental mistake the first week of training camp. McCardell has had a very nice career for a 12th round draft choice. He scored 9 TDs in 2005, so hopefully he has a little left in the tank. Perhaps he can show Brandon Lloyd how to prepare like a professional. redskinsking14 10-01-2007, 09:43 AM Did We sign him yet?
